Excellent site, quiet, relaxing just what we needed for a few days rest, enjoyed being so close to the river and had a nice walk along side the river too.

Friendly site and warm welcome too. Toilets and showers very clean, the only downside is the tokens for the showers but can understand why, will most certainly be going back.

Although being close to a main road traffic noise is not a problem. Plenty to visit in the area and not far from large supermarkets either.

It was our first outing with our caravan and we were given a space that made it easy to reverse into, all in all one of the best sites we've been too in a long time

A highly recommended site - the owners couldn't do enough for us, the toilet/shower blocks whilst small are clean and well maintained, and the surroundings are wonderful too.

We only have a small tent, and feared the worst after torrential rain for 4 days prior to our arrival, but the secluded camping area was really well drained and not the bog we were anticipating at all.

The visiting fish and chip van (who arrived early Saturday evening) was very welcome and of a similar high standard to the site.

All in all, excellent.

We booked the site before we arrived. 3 nights including caravan, 2 adults, an awning and a dog. It's cost was £16 a night with electric hook up. We were pitched just 20 feet away from the river and the lovely friendly hungry ducks.

The people who run the site are very friendly. You are given a key to use the showers. There are 2 ladies and 2 mens, with a toilet in the shower block and a separate toilet from the showers, there's also a laundry room, which you have to ask for access to.

The showers are immaculate and are plugged into the radio, there is 2 sinks in each shower block too. You need to buy tokens and they cost 50p for 10 minutes in the shower. As a lady who washes long hair, the 10 minutes is an ample amount of time so it only costs £1 a day for 2 showers.

There is a lovely library which has so many books and games and a visitors book.

There is a small river walk which you can walk your dog along but please take poop bags and a lead as they are very strict on keeping your dog on a lead and clearing up after it. There are plenty of rubbish bins to place them in to.

The grounds are well looked after and it really is very pretty. It is quite close to a busy road but to be fair we didn't really notice it at the important times of day and that's sleep time.

TV signal is not great unless you have the mod cons, which we don't yet but we managed to get a good enough signal to watch ITV for the England / USA game.

Its obviously a popular site as some vans are static.

I would recommend this site to anyone, a lovely stay.

Oh and its adults only which is lovely too, sorry for owners of children.

First impressions count and when we arrived at the campsite we were amazed at how presentable and clean it was. We were greeted by the owners who were very friendly and helpful. We were then shown to our pitch where the owner stayed and had a chat with us. Showers are immaculate and have music playing. There is an iceream wagon at the main reception area where you can purchase an icecream. I had ran out of magazines to read and was told by another camper that there was a library. I thought they meant up the road but it is actually on site. You can get mags, books, games, etc, all they ask if you wish is for you to leave a small donation. This goes towards buying books and other items. Excellent idea. The actual site is very well maintained, and there is a river running along side where you can picnic or have a barbecue. There is also dog poop bins if you should take your dog. A garage is opposite the campsite, but you will find a Morrisons and a Tescos in Downham Market which also has a market and a very good butchers shop. I would recommend this site to anyone without any hesitation and we will definitely be going back.

We have just returned from this fantastic site. The owners made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived on the site and were very very helpful throughout our stay. The site and the toilet block/shower block were immaculate at all times. Due to the location of the site (on the river) the owners were very selective about children on the site and there was talk of making it an adult only site from next year.

The river walk was lovely especially as we had our two dogs with us. We came to relax so spent most of our time on the site and didn't go out very much. Supermarkets are less than 10 miles away in Brandon and Downham Market, but the garage/shop across the road sold all the necessities.

The traffic noise was bad at times and without it the site would be heaven. However we will definitely be returning for some more relaxation time.

As previous reviewers have written this is an excellent site with very welcoming hosts.

The grounds and facilities are immaculate, it's very reasonably priced even with 50p tokens for showers. It's has a lovely river along one side with moorings for boats.

No on site shop but gas is available, and there's garage & shop immediately across the road selling most things.

A Fish & chip van arrived on site at 8.30pm on Friday evening so no need to cook after our journey which was great.

Parents should note that there's no children's playground, which makes it a great site for adults!

If there was a way to reduce the noise of lorries and motorbikes on the nearby A road, Grange Farm would exceed all expectations.

Just had a splendid weekend here. Because we were in a Motorhome, we were placed at the rivers edge (apparently the hardest ground on site!). We had to keep 5 meters from the bank, so others including the boat owners could have access. As we were blessed with decent weather, it was great to watch the boats meandering by, with a cheery wave, & making friends with the local duck population!

The facilities were spotless, having 2 showers & toilets per gender. The info room was packed with leaflets etc, & books & magazines a plenty.

Apart from some road noise, which you soon ignore, this is a very tranquil place, with a garage just across the road for any essentials,it is a fantastic place for a holiday.

We can't wait to return later in the year.

Just returned from 2 nights stay in caravan. Very pleased with site and with owners. They were very helpful and friendly. Absolutely agree with previous reviewer, very clean, spacious site. The good shop is across the road with a garage and everything you need. There are dingies for hire and a lots of boats on the river, fishing lake is nearby. We will definitely come back.

We visted this site at the beginning of May and loved it!. The weather was amazing! We had a choice of any pitch by the river. The views were fantastic.

The site is extremely tidy and the owners very friendly and approachable. They have been there about a year I think and have made lots of improvements, including the toilet and shower block which has been completely refurbished, it was only finished a few days before we arrived. The showers are via a 50p token but hot and last 20 minutes, more than enough time. Pitch fees were reasonable, and did not seem to fluctuate during the bank holiday/peak times and the dog was made very welcome.

The owners have changed the layout of the site so that all touring pitches are near to the river. It is possible to use the river from the site. The site is near to a main road and is busy during the day, but to be honest by the evening it settles down and the views and location more than compensate. There are lovely walks along the river and the pub is within walking distance, which we did not quite make due to a broken foot, but will certainly try it next time we visit!

There is no shop on site but the garage opposite stocks all of the essentials. There is a useful tourist info area on site. Fresh fish van visits Wednesday.

I am not sure if this is an adults only site, but there is no play area and as it is close to the river, I would think it would be hard work to camp there with young children.

The site is close to a National Trust property, Kings Lynn, Downham Market and Thetford Forest so lots to do in the area.

We can't wait to return.
