This is an absolutely beautiful site. I spent two nights here and although the site opens in March I was the only person camping. My husband came after work and spent the nights with me. It would have been scary to be there on my own at night.
There are two large camping & caravanning fields and I stayed on the one that overlooks one of the lakes. There are approximately 9 EHU in this field (some EHU are available in the other field). The field is fairly flat but a bit uneven in places. The amenities consists of ladies and gents toilets (with 2 showers and 2 toilets in each) a disabled toilet and a sink for washing up which I can imagine gets busy when the site is full. There is a code to get into the facilities. There is an outside tap for drinking water and washing up water. There are large bins for rubbish and an elsan point. The facilities were spotless and the shower was lovely and hot.
The entrance to the site looks unfinished and belies the beauty of the site. Eddie the owner is very pleasant and came to speak to me each day to make sure I was ok. The site is right next to a main road and is initially quite noisy, however you soon get use to the noise and there weren’t many vehicles travelling along it at night. The lakes are very popular and there were always people fishing, some were night fishing on the middle lake. The walks around the lakes are lovely and you can spot a variety of birds and wildlife. There is a play area on the road around the corner with skateboarding ramps. There are several pubs in the area, I had lunch at The Folly Inn and paid £4. 95 for a ham cob, chips and salad, it was all beautifully cooked. They also had real ale on tap. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this site and hope to return later in the year.

This is the second time I have camped at Dog Lane,
I can recommend this site as it is very friendly and really clean (toilets and showers were spotless),
Me and my son have also been back a few times to fish the carp lake, the biggest we have caught is 22lb 8oz. All the fish we have caught have been in very good condition and we have always caught,
I will be going back very soon to fish and must recommend the camp site and fishing to everyone.

Visited this site as in close proximity to Warwick Castle.
+ points
1) plenty of space, main field is a huge area with loads of room in the middle (if a little uneven) 2) fishing lake walks 3) children's playground nearby 4) peaceful 5) not too busy.
- points
1) only one shower 2) bit grotty round the facilities block and needs time for landscape to establish 3) only one washing-up sink 4) difficult to find.
Went to Warwick Castle and did some nice walks off the site but otherwise relaxed in the quiet.
Overall a good stay.

Although we picked the worst weekend for high winds, and a bit of rain, we thoroughly enjoyed our bank holiday at this site.
The toilet facilities were more than adequate and the showers wonderfully warm. Though, I should imagine if the site was full, it may mean a lot of queuing.
The burger van was a complete bonus and well used by all the campers. Highly recommend the cheese burgers! Very tasty and reasonably priced!
The lakes are beautiful to walk round and dog walkers can take advantage of at least three different lakes, which seemed to be really well stocked.
Not being into fishing myself, I was surprised by the number of anglers that were reeling large carp in! All in all, very enjoyable.

I found this site by chance on this website and it looked perfect for my first camping trip for some time and as an experiment to see how camping with my 3 dogs would be.
The site is beautiful. The field we camped in (behind the toilet block) was very well maintained. The toilet block has a washing up room, ladies and mens toilets with 2 showers in each and a disabled toilet.
All of which were very clean. The location was perfect and it was lovely to spend the day fishing on Willow Lake.
This is a very relaxed site which is perfect for spending a weekend fishing. The egg, bacon and sausage rolls from the food van were awesome too.

We found this place by chance, couldn't believe it was right on our doorstep ! Managed to book a pitch with hook up overlooking the lake. It was fantastic.
The lakes are very peaceful, lots of fish & everyone was very friendly. Eddie very helpful & chatty. Facilities are basic, although plans are in place to improve them, which includes new toilets/showers & dishwashing facilities.
However, it would be nice if there was a play area on site for the kids. We really enjoyed it very much. Thanks Eddie

What a place! Absolutely perfect for families or a group of fishermen! there is a good touring field with ehu. Basic toilet and shower block but kept clean. Cheap day fishing here if you are camping too. One thing this site has to shout about is the on site burger wagon providing cooked breakfasts etc thru til about 3pm each day. The lakes here look beautiful and are great to fish even if your just there to have fun with children or there for some serious fishing! There is a skate park within 1 min walking distance and a children's play area about 5-10 mins walk into the village. We didn't use local pubs but did go to a quaint shop which seemed to take advantage of the campers, reflected in the price of thing! Having a Chinese delivered from the local town of Southam is an absolute must when you visit here! Excellent food and what a luxury to have food delivered whilst camping. Will definitely go back again.

All that is being stated on the web site is not available when you get there, no disabled facilities, no laundry facilities. We found cold/tepid showers and with only one for each gender, this then meant a wait in the morning is always had.
Fishing is good. The plans for development of this site should make a good improvement and perhaps bring this site to a standard of cleanliness and professionalism it deserves.

This is a basic camp site, only just had EHU installed. 1 toilet, 1 shower. We had a 3 night stay and although we had a fantastic time (company & fishing) the tents were close together, a lot of noise after 11pm, music and the tent next door had the nindento wii going on into the early hours. No Playground for the kids. They had a burger van in the car park selling the usual stuff.
Even after all of the negatives we still had a fantastic stay an maybe consider going back, but only for a weekend stop.

I am so reluctant to let out the secret of this wonderful site, but it is really too nice not to.
We spent a three night weekend at Dog Lane Fishery having one of the most restful long weekends I can remember. The site is in the most wonderful location and is a fishermans delight with three lakes. Wonderful open fields look out over the lake near the main campsite. Being able to wake up in the morning and start fishing with a hot cup of coffee is so special. The ablutions are small - one male and one female toilet and shower which are clean and adequate, but be warned if you like your luxuries you will not find them here. This site is for campers who are not expecting to be able to blow dry their hair or spend time in front of a mirror. You will also not find a playground so will need to sort your own entertainment if you have children. For those of us who are not looking for the luxuries and do not have children it really is a special, peaceful place.
The village about 15 minutes walk away has a shop that stocks almost everything you could require except charcoal. A catering caravan is on site on the weekends which meant that we did not have to cook breakfast and at £2.50 for a bacon and egg bap big enough to satisfy the hungriest of people this was good value and meant no dishes to wash. A real bonus for us was being able to take our dog along who enjoyed the trip just as much as we did. Eddie the owner made us extremely welcome and has done a marvellous job with the site. We will certainly make regular returns to this campsite.
