Just had 3 nights at this site, went as a party of 3 x families. We were asked to use pitches 1-3 in the camping field which is separate to the pitches overlooking the beautiful Willow Lake.
Our pitches backed onto a road junction that could get noisy. It was just a large and pretty grass field with EHU but was very soft underfoot/wheels.
Pitch was a decent size but caravan wheels just sank in the ground and we had to push each others units out at the end of the stay.
Grass was cut while before our stay but cuttings left in situ and grass got literally everywhere including floor of small shower block (only 1 toilet and 2 showers in the mens).
Fishing was incredible on Willow, my 6m White Knuckle pole put to test but even with heaviest elastic some fish were just too big to land without rod and line - really nice pegs through, everyone seemed to be catching! Kids located a skate park with zip line in next field across road from site so that was bonus.
Feel site needed bigger toilet block for number of units staying and some kind of vehicle access to pitches on camping field to give chance of getting off at end of stay. Also needs another freshwater tap, there was only 1 and owner used it for jet washing 2 out of 3 days.
Chap who looked after fishery really friendly, person who assumed was owner not so much as he just came into the awning with a card reader (was told they would come and collect payment once set up) before leaving without a word.

We stayed here as a one night stopover on our way to Ludlow.
I booked it on the day and, as we arrived at night and left first thing in the morning, didn't get a chance to fully enjoy our stay.
However, we would love to go back as the site is well-kept and the showers were very clean and comfortable to use.

The pitches are well spaced, small but immaculate facilities, very friendly and laid back staff, relaxing environment and good fishing!
Only slight downside was the lack of temperature control in the ladies showers.

We have used this Caravan Site on a few occasions and look forward to coming again.
Our Granddaughter enjoyed the fishing at the well stocked pool whilst Nana enjoyed reading and sketching the beautiful local scenery.
A very peaceful, relaxing holiday

Value for money, good location for nearby towns, within 15 miles, canal walk nearby. Quite and peaceful on the adult site overlooking the lake.
Friendly staff with no hassle or cutting grass every day. Showers and toilets are spotless, easy to use shower with constant temperature control, grab rail for washing feet and a chair if you need to sit to shower. Could do with a couple more hooks in there.
Electric gate for security at night. The driveway could do with tarmacking as it is gravel at the moment.
We had an enjoyable 6 nights there 2/9/20
