 Ditto on every count. Loved our measly one night here - we had to catch the boat the following day. Not being very happy with where we were the previous night and deciding not to stay a second night as originally planned, I remembered the above review and sought it out.
We will be back and will stay for more than one night. The only thing that would have given it the perfect 10 would have been a lovely little French bistro within walking distance - but then nothing is perfect.
No children on site on the night that we were there but no special facilities laid on for them. As we are well past the age of wanting children's facilities, this was not a negative for us.

A real gem of a site! If you need to stay in Amiens, use this site and not the Municiple.
On the grounds outside of the Chateau Bertangles, which during the summer has evening tours.
The campsite has only 33 pitches (all with electric), a spotless toilet block and small reception/office area where you book in, this sold local wines and produce.
Just a lovely, typically french village setting - very relaxing after a long drive! Is around 10km off the motorway - and is very well sign posted - just following the signs for the Chateau.
