One of the best sites on our tour of Skye, etc. Views magnificent, walked to Eilean Donan Castle, (really good), within 15 mins. Also have telephone, tv and internet connections ! Don't expect a lot from the basic toilet/shower facilities, but the almost super pitches are great ! Great place for overnight stay, highly recommended, peaceful site with unreal views at a great price ! Will come back :o)

We came across this site nestling on the banks of the loch, and stayed only for one night, if our tour of Scotland had allowed we would have stayed longer. The site was on a slope from the road down to the loch, which was gated and walled from the site. Next to the wall was a row of hardstandings with a meter for your electricity, (£1) did us all night and the next day. Lady came and collected the site fee which was £10 per night. It seemed that this site attracted tents rather than caravans, there where a lot of tents on the field walkers I think.
The site had two toilet blocks, both basic but ok. Only one block had a shower. As a one or two night stay it would serve the purpose.
Although the site was basic, there was nothing basic about its location,we awoke to watch pods of porpoises in the bay. The Eilean donan on its little island to our left. Surrounded by mountains. There is a pub a short walk away and a shop in the village (we did not use them only saw them). A sunset over the loch to die for.The only strange thing we found was that the water coming out of the taps was a light brown in colour, the lady assured us it was fine she has drunk it a long time. We stuck to bottled.
