This site is splendid! It's as if the owners have thought 'How do we create the perfect site?' It's neat and tidy and, although some of the landscaping has yet to mature, you can already see how lovely it is going to be.
The loo/shower is luxurious - some high class hotels would be jealous! The pub just about 100 yds away is very friendly and does great food.
OK, this is being picky but there is a bit of traffic noise which should be cured once the laurel hedge has grown, and it's not actually very bad at all.
The owners are very friendly and helpful, and we have no hesitation in recommending this site unreservedly.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here in beautiful surroundings. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and the facilities extremely clean.
The children especially liked all the games they could borrow and had lots of fun playing with the swing ball provided. There was a large space for them to play around in and a gate to ensure they were safe.
Although next to a busy road this did not spoil our stay. Shops and take a-ways very close. Very good value for money and will definitely stay again.

Just returned after an 8 night stay at this site. Our first visit to a CL. Wonderful little site. Owners could not have been more helpful.
Toilet / Shower block immaculate. Very well kept flower borders and grass. Another review mentioned the noise from the road but this did not bother us.
Lynham has most shops you will need and is only a few minutes drive. Try the new fresh fish shop 'Deep Blue' - we used it three times, wonderful fresh crabs which we dressed ourselves.
We will definitely visit here again as it is the best value site we have stayed at in our 10 years of caravanning.

Our family recently had the pleasure of 3 nights at Peterborough Lodge over half term.
Our hosts Dee and Eddy are fab - they even went that extra mile by phoning us before arrival to warn us the road was closed and provide an alternative route. The site is lovely and beautifully kept. Our little girl especially loved feeding the fish in the lake and playing with the swing-ball provided.
The toilet and shower room are immaculate and there's loads of useful info like restaurant menus, places of interest plus books and films to borrow.
We visited NT sites - Lacock Abbey and Avebury House and Henge and also the Kennet canal which were all well worth visiting.
Only problem was that no one wanted to go home! Can't wait to return.

We stopped off here for one night on our way to Cornwall. It was the first CL site we have stayed at and it was an absolute delight. Beautifully manicured grass with lovely flowers everywhere plus the peaceful view of the lake. The shower facility was excellent and the owner could not have been more friendly or more helpful. We will be trying more CL sites in the future. We highly recommend this site.

A lovely small site which opened only last year. It is immaculately kept and the facilities are excellent and kept very clean.
The owners (Eddie and Dee) couldn't have done more to make me feel welcome and to look after me. I appreciated the security of the locked gates and the pleasant peaceful atmosphere.
There is quite a busy 'B' road running passed the site which can be a bit disturbing but the owners have planted a lot of trees on the banking which will reduce both visibility and noise.
I would also appreciate a little shade for the caravan during extremely hot weather (what hot weather??!).
I would (and will) certainly be going back.

We're new to caravanning and this was our first site in our own van on the day we picked it up. We went with friends who have caravanned for 30 years.
We had a fantastic welcome from the owner who made us feel very welcome ('this is not always the case' our friends informed us). Even though the site is near the road it's not a problem.
We wished we were able to stay more than one night, it was just so peaceful with the view over a small lake. The toilet and shower block were spotless and you can borrow a book or magazine from there.
The local pub is less than 5 minutes up the road and serves really good food.
All in all a great place and one which we will definitely be going back to.

Stayed at this CL site and had a great time, owners very welcoming, site very clean with excellent shower and toilet facilities,
Lovely view of the lake, as the site was set down from the road - did not notice road traffic, only noise we heard was a plane taking off from RAF Lynham.
Just up the hill was newsagent which had basics if you had run out otherwise Lynham had all you would need plenty of shops and pubs,
Also nearby Wootton Bassett as another option for shopping.
Had some great walks in the nearby Wiltshire countryside.

Just came back from a great weekend at this site.
Owners very welcoming and nothing to much trouble.Toilet and shower facilities spotless, electric hook up fine no issues,Site landscaped to high standard with great view's over a small lake. Near to the town of Wooton Basset if you need to top up on supplies. Waste points good even has an R.V dump point, each pitch has an ariel socket so no issues with reception they even supplied me with an ariel cable because I never had one with me ! All in all a great little site to use as a base for touring the local area or just somewhere to chill out.
