I must start by saying what a beautiful area to go camping. We arrived about 2 in the afternoon, I think! Found the camp easy enound saw a notice to phone a mobileber to check in.
Within 2 mins we were met at the gate by a very jolly lady, who welcomed us and told us our pitch number and all the immediate info we needed befor going to get us logs for the fire.
After pitching up two tents on a huge pitch, and making our two dogs very at home on there leads with a huge amount of sniffing room, we had a look around.
There was a clean hot shower, and variouse toilets and washing basins dotted around the field.
These were always clean, always hot, and not far to walk to.
The whole time we were there, we loved every minute, nothing was ever too much trouble for anyone, the lady even leant us a table from a summer house to borrow, no charge, a rareity.
Having a camp fire was amazing, a very rare thing on most camp sites.
The pitch size was the biggest ive seen in a long time, and they make every effort to spread the people out so you have as much space as you can.
I could go on all night about the friendlyness and hospitality of the farm, but I must move on to the shops and cafes and beaches nearby. All great, home cooked food in the great cafes just 5 mins away by car, such good value for money.
All I can say is Keep up the good work, see you soon.

This campsite is very user friendly, has toilets and showers, also the pitches are good sized. You will always see june running around the campsite dropping of logs or cleaning the loo's and she is very friendly. I would recommend this campsite to anyone as there is lots to do and a very friendly atmosphere.

We came to the Oakfield farm camping site, looking for a quiet, authentic weekend of camping and were very satisfied with our experience. The owner was friendly, understanding and after a brief chat made a great effort to allocate us the best pitch for our needs. The facilities provided were basic but clean and during our stay the slightly louder group of young adults were placed in the separate pond area making it much quieter for the rest of us.
All of the pitches were much larger than we have been allocated in other more commercial camp sites, leaving us with a feeling of having plenty of space. As the pitches are only around the edges of the field this left a very large space for children to play during the day and gave us the impression of camping in the wilderness at night. The open campfires really added to the atmosphere creating an authentic and memorable experience.

If you want a rustic experience this is your campsite. Tents are pitched around the edge leaving plenty of room for children to play and dogs to roam. It had 2 flushing ladies & also 2 gents loos & 1 shower which whilst we opted for wet wipes our friend said the shower was extremely good. Fire wood was fab and non smoking & 6 bells@ chidingly, a must if you want a local pub with no frills but great atmosphere. You can walk back to camp site which is 1. 6 miles. June was a treasure and eager to help. Kids can see the cow milked on a Sunday morning if you can get them up that early!

Yet again another fantastic day at Oakfield farm.
This is by far the best campsite we visit and the only one we go back to repeatedly.
The owner is always really friendly and helpful. The facilities are good, always clean and enough for what you need. This is not glamping, so nothing over the top, but enough to stay clean and comfortable. All that and you can make a fire in a beautiful setting.
We'll be back again soon!

Just 15 minutes from Ashford and 25 minutes from fabulous beaches, you'll be ideally placed for exploring the Garden of England. The park is divided into a family area, that is close to the play parks, the sports field and the games room, and a peaceful adult-only area in The Meadows, that is ideal for couples. A range of grass and hardstanding pitches, fully serviced or non electric, catering for all sized of tents and caravans.
On both areas you will enjoy five-star, centrally-heated showers, and private cubicles with toilet, hand basin, dryers etc. Laundry and campers kitchens, a large childrens playground, sports field, games room and television lounge. The park has CCTV and WiFi is available for a small fee. A dog walking area is provided on site. Find out more here

What a great site! Spent a wet bank holiday weekend at the site but our experience was fantastic. Not used to parking the car way from the tents but this made it much safer for children. June was extremely helpful, friendly and relaxed. We were able to set up the tents our way in the very ample pitches. The facilities were very basic which was an initial concern, but again, June ensured they were kept clean at all times. Visiting pansy the cow and four little pigs was great and very informative. The campfire proved a very big hit with both adults and children in our group roasting sausages and marshmallows late into the night, but very little noise from other campers. Big stores only a ten minute drive and a pub and petrol station close by made it very easy to get things. All in all the site has a very relaxed feel, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves despite the rain. I would definitely be returning to this site. A sink would go down great as this is the only thing that is missing.

Firstly the owner is wonderful and so helpful! Everywhere had sold out for a last minute bank holiday weekend booking with family and although she was very busy, she kindly went and checked could squeeze us in and rung back when she said she would. Saved our little family break! Easy to find, and large pitch sizes. Firewood good value and owner doesn't mind where you have them as long as sensible obviously. Camping is in a large field around the edge and, at the time we went, the long grasses in the middle where a haven for hide & seek for the kids! Had enough space for our 3 bedroom tent plus gazebo. Had a nice 5 mile-ish walk in a loop which took in 2 great pubs ideal for families. 2 toilet blocks (ladies/gents) either end of field and 1 shower. As we were just 2 nights, didn't use shower but my son had a look and said it looked good! toilets were very clean. Sold eggs from the farms chickens if wanted. No hot water for washing but 2 drinking water taps, so easy to heat water and wash up at tent. Would definitely go back. Only drawback was the traffic noise. Not very loud at all and really didn't bother me but it is there.

The previous reviews have already mentioned some of the great bonuses for this site. The owners are wonderful, they ensure their campers have what they need, they don't over crowd the site and go above and beyond.
Onsite eggs every morning :) children and grown ups can go and see the cow milked, which drew a big crowd.
The A22 although close was not an issue. Really peaceful country campsite :)
We camped over the Bank Holiday and it was very wet but the field stayed in good condition. The children played safely in the centre of the field with others, with plenty of space.
Will definitely go back, and probably before the season ends.
I've rated it 10/10 as all of our group loved it. If your happy with basic proper camping this site is perfect.

Just spent a very wet Saturday at Oakfield Farm campsite but the wet weather could not dampen our spirits or the warm welcome we received from June. What a star! The campsite is basic (but very clean & no queuing) so don't expect a clubhouse & family disco but do expect a fantastic relaxing time. Ample sized pitches with the bonus of a fire pit. June's enthusiasm for her babies ( the cows ) & the generosity of free milk from Pansy really made our stay. Thank you June we will definitely be back :)

As first time camper we were worried we would get it all wrong! Not the case, June the owner put us at ease and took our concerns away. Great place in the countryside, able to light fires with logs provided at a reasonable cost. Large pitches and clean 'basic' toilet facilities. Stand pipes dotted around to collect water/wash up from. There is a garage only 5 mins walk away that supplies the basics inc. Wine and Beer! We didn't venture out as only staying one night, it was too nice sitting round the fire tasted marsh-mellows and chatting but if you do there is a great pub: The Yew Tree (Been there before)that has great character and has a great play area for the kids. You can get to it by a 20 min walk down quiet country lanes. We really enjoyed our stay even though for one night and we will be back soon!
