Stayed here 5 years ago in a static, so we already knew it was an excellent site. Just had a week here in my tourer with my wife and 2 young children, had large pitch (grass pitch, electric hook up, car & awning- no ground sheets allowed on these grass pitches), couldn't get a luxury as these seem to go straight away (these include waste/drinking water hook up). The waste/drinking water points were plentiful and not far away, the shower/toliet blocks were spotless and free. Childrens play area on site was excellent and there is one next to the entrance which is also excellent and quite large, these were never over full. There is the river stour that runs through the site, with fishing available. The on site shop has plenty of choice with a Tesco express down the road and a tesco superstore about a mile away. This is an excellent location for getting into bournemouth/southbourne and the New forest. Would definitely recommend this site and will be returning next year.

A very pleasant site, The wife and kids spent a week there in the half term with no worries at all. The site is mainly static vans with tourers sited at the far end. We took the option of a super pitch for the week - hard standing for the van and stone area for the awning so nail pegs advisable but there are standard grass pitches too. The total width of the pitch itself was on the small side with little room for kids to play but there is a good park on site and an even better one opposite the site entrance. Shower blocks are very clean with the only worry that the showers are too hot! Good shop on site stocking all the basics and a Tesco extra just round the corner. All roads on site are tarmac making it great for the younger kids to whizz round on their bikes. Fishing is available on the river stour next to the site but we did not try it. Loads of thigns to do in the area - Beaulieu motor museum well worth a vist, swimming pool opposite Tescos also very good. Would visit again.
