The weather was perfect but the grass areas were very wet meaning running boards ( supplied) were needed to get onto the pitch.
Would make sense not to leave a piece of grass between the roadway and hardstanding which also caused parking issues if using an awning.
The roadway is also too narrow.
On the plus side it is a well kept site with very clean toilet/ shower and amenity blocks.
Well situated for Christchurch and bus routes to Bournemouth and other places.

Lovely site, lovely clean facilities. Showers perfect temperature and great cubicles, well thought out.
Reception staff so friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Site so close to beaches and New Forest.
We used local buses, they were brilliant, ran regularly to all beaches nearby, just hop on and off, much easier than finding parking for a large motorhome.
Will definitely book again. Really enjoyed our stay. Thankyou.

This was our first time at Meadowbanks and we were so pleased we found this site.
Excellent and prompt communication even though I was trying to book on the day!
The greeting was personal and welcoming.
The whole site was immaculate - from the shower block to the pitches to the play park.
It is a great base for exploring Bournemouth and the surrounding area.
Thank you so much.
Paul and family.

Really lovely site. Staff were very helpful. A small on-site shop for bits and pieces that you may have forgotten to pack, fresh bread daily and newspapers to order.
Showers and loos kept beautifully clean as was the laundry and black waste disposal.
Easy walk into Christchurch. Loads of eateries and shops.
The beach was a bit further but we chose to visit Durdle Door. Well worth the drive.

Recently came back from spending a week at Meadowbank. Fantastic friendly, relaxed and well-maintained site with easy access from the A338. We stayed in our motorhome on a fully serviced pitch with our teenage sons.
Michelle in reception was very friendly and helpful, both on arrival, and earlier when adding an extra day to our stay.
The toilet facilities were modern and always clean, with lovely hot and easy to use showers. In the ladies there was also a toilet cubicle with a sink, and a bath cubicle with a sink which would be useful for young families.
There was also a separate disabled toilet/shower room. The holiday caravans looked very appealing and we thought it would be an ideal campsite for motorhomers/ caravanners to holiday with non-touring relatives/ friends.
Excellent location with frequent bus services close by to get to Christchurch and Bournemouth. My husband bought group bus tickets via the Morebus app, which was good value and straightforward. Christchurch is also walkable (about 40 minutes) and a similar distance to Southbourne high street with bars and restaurants and Southbourne beach.
There are also bikes and e-scooters available to hire on nearby roads using the Beryl app. We had stone-baked pizza on Friday night, and saw there was a fish and chip van on another day.
The site shop was well stocked plus convenience stores nearby. Nice to be by the river from where you can walk along the Stour Valley Way, we were pleased to see two Kingfishers!
Tuckton also close by where there is a lovely café and boat trips to Mudeford, as well as boats to hire. Plenty of other great places to visit such as the New Forest (perfect for cycling – either to take or hire bikes), Hengistbury Head, Lymington, and further afield Lulworth Cove, Corfe castle and Swanage.
If going to Hengistbury Head in a motorhome, a good option is to park in the large car park at Mudeford Quay which has suitable spaces, and then crossing on the short foot ferry (the Hengistbury Head carpark has a height barrier).
All in all a great holiday destination for variety of places to visit/things to do, whilst also lovely to just chill out on the site.
Would have loved to stay longer. Thoroughly recommend!
