Lovely new campsite with spacious pitches and beautiful surroundings. We used it as a base to go to various places around Devon and North Cornwall. The location of the site is good - Okehampton is about 5 mins drive away, it is on the edge of Dartmoor, which is stunning. The coast (Bude or Croyde) is about 40 minutes drive away. The nearest pub we could find is a bit of a walk.
Make sure that you follow the instructions to get there from the owners - don't rely on your sat nav, especially if you are towing.
Toilet blocks and facilities are spot on - the shower sensors can be a bit over sensitive and can soak the unaware first-time fully dressed user ;). Everything is kept clean. There is lots of information about the surrounding area in the information centre, and fresh eggs are also available from the owners.
There is a field of newly planted trees which is a dog walking area which is very pleasant.
The only downside about the park is the fishing 'lake' - it really is a very small farm pond and it seems a bit expensive charging £5 on top of the site fees to fish on it.
We would go back - it will be beautiful when the trees and hedging have matured.

We used this brand new site for an overnight stop on our way to Cornwall.
On arrival we were met by a very cheery Rebecca and given a map and details of where our pitch was. Tim was busy mowing the lush grass.
A nice extra touch on the map was the direction of the TV Transmitter, something many spend ages trying to find.
There are 40 pitches, many on hard standing and good drainage grass ones. At night there is discreet lighting which allows you to get around the site and there is very quiet. The toilet block is very modern with underfloor heating, hot showers and private cubicles for washing. An information room tells you what is on locally, places to visit, restaurants, etc.
The site gives free wi-fi which can be easily got from your caravan without having to go to a central point, another important plus. There is a fire pit on the edge of the site which is free to use and a lovely small pond where ducks and birds frequent. A purpose made dog walk is on the edge of the site too.
When word spreads about this site we would envisage it being very busy due to it's welcoming feel, modern facilities on site and location for sight seeing and transit point. We shall certainly return for a much longer stay when next down this area.

A brand new farm based site in a perfect location for access to Dartmoor two and a half miles from Okehampton. It is beautifully laid out and landscaped with full hook-ups and free wifi throughout. The utility block includes excellent toilet, shower, dish washing facilities plus all other facilities you would expect including an area information room. The owners, who developed the site, are friendly, helpful and experienced in campsite management. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will certainly use the site again and recommend it without reservation.

What a lovely site! It's brand new and very convenient as it's not far from the A30 so good if you are travelling further on. We had a lovely friendly welcome and a choice of hard standing pitches on the landscaped site sloping down to a small lake at the bottom of the site. There are plenty of grass pitches too. There has been a lot of planting and it should look really good when the hedges grow. The views are super and we saw a variety of birds from the van window. The utilities block is wonderful, pristine, with super showers operated by sensors. The family and disabled bathrooms look very sensible though we didn't use them. There is a firepit available for hire and wifi. It's an easy drive over for emptying and our pitch had electricity and water points. It's not far into Okehampton with it's shops ( including Waitrose and Lidl) and is a good base for exploring the area. We've given 9 out of ten but only because there is a bit of road noise but only at peak times- it's very quiet at night.
