 We have been using this site for a number of years now and my other half has used it for around 15 years!
The current owners, Simon and Leanne are smashing! They are very friendly and will always help you in any way they can and the same is said for their daughters.
There is a local pub down the road which is literally a five minute drive, if you didn't want to cook.
The landscape and the walks in the area are fabulous.
Even though there are no shower facilities on site, these views and the outdoors totally compensate for that. However, there are toilets and they are cleaned daily.
They have lots of chickens so if you want to have a breakfast they do sell their eggs.
The community and the people that frequent the site are all very helpful and friendly. We are :-)!
They are child friendly with a swing for the children to play on, and I think at some point they maybe elaborating on this.
They allow dogs as long as they are on pegs, which is for the consideration of other campers.
Just a fabulous place to be in the summer time and also for us hard core campers, in the snow. Its beautiful. :-)
