What a fantastic adult only site this is.
This has to be one of the best (if not the best) sites we have stayed on in all our years of camping. Each pitch is hard standing (gravel) and are fully serviced, with good views up and down the vally. The site facilities are first class, there is even a dog shower room.
We were given a very warm welcome on arrival, both the owners and wardens are very helpful and friendly.
The reception has a small selection of provisions etc. For a larger shop Llanidlioes is approximately a 20 minute walk (down hill) beware it seems longer on the way back (uphill) especially if loaded down with shopping. If you drive we found no problem to park but street parking has time limits. There is a nice selection of shops including a Spar and a Co-op.
We found plenty to see in the area (look in the info room).
We will be going back that's for sure.

A top Adult Only site. Approach and access is easy. The site is set on a hillside so is terraced giving excellent views over the valley. Pitches are large, level and gravel with full facilities (including toilet waste emptying !) The toilet block is one of the best I've seen in 30 years caravanning (just lacks hair dryer in gents but that's being picky. ) 20 minute walk into the village but it is quite a steep walk back up the hill. For TV you need to plug into the bollard on your pitch so make sure you have a cable. Nice owners who keep it spotless. Really nice site.

Really nice site very clean. When booking I asked to be on pitch with shade as my old dog has heart problem and was told this would be fine.
On arriving was taken to pitch right in middle no shade at all. Man was really sorry but couldn't do anything about it.
As it was one of the hottest weeks in June it spoiled our holiday. Not sure we would go back again for this reason.

WOW! This site can only be described as awesome! We travel up & down the country in our motorhome & this has to be the best site we have had the pleasure of staying on for a very long time.
From the welcoming wardens on arrival who changed our allotted pitch with a smile just because I liked the one on the end better, to the fully service pitches & I do mean FULLY serviced, where else gives you hardstanding pitches with drinking water, drain, TV point and toilet emptying facility on the pitch? I have never found one yet. The dog walking is plentiful both on & off site with a dog wash room second to none, again I have to say WOW! The new facilities block is all sensor operated from the taps to the showers (wet rooms). Now I know that the ladies will appreciate this when I tell you that the toilet rolls provided are the top quality quilted variety & not your normal thin sheets you need half a roll to use at any one time. It's the attention to small details that puts this site above the rest. The free Wifi actually works! I am writing this & hubbie is on the other computer at this moment & the signal is good - we are in Wales after all. Not an area renowned for fast broadband speeds.
You must put this site on your 'to visit' list it is awesome, & as it has only been open a short while it will only improve when all the planting areas mature.

This site is the benchmark for all sites, as it's brought caravaning
And motorhoming into the 21st century. The views from all the large pitches are superb. The facilities are spotlessly clean and the dog shower room is quite a feature. We didn't use the facilities however (but inspected)because each pitch is FULLY serviced with both grey and black waste disposal, ehu, water and TV socket. This is a family run business and no expense has been spared on this quality site. The dog walks are a delight on and off the site, there's even a gated area for the would be escapees. The town is a 20 minute walk and has an abundance of shops, pubs and eaterys. We must give a special mention to the owners who greeted us on arrival and made us feel most welcome and their wardens who were enthusiastic and helpful and obviously take a pride in their work as the whole site was immaculate.

Do not go to this site its dreadful and then there will always be room for us! Actually its a fabulous site. Some of the pitches are pull throughs which can be a help to some caravanners. The toilet block, washing up facilities etc. Are super clean and top notch. The elsan disposal point is indoors and has a wash hand basin, soap and dryer for washing your hands afterwards. Dog wash well thought out and excellent.
One of the best motorhome service points I have ever seen.
The local town has free parking, is very pleasant and friendly and you must visit Evans chippy!
It is a bit of a steep walk in places coming back up but we are of advanced years and only moderately fit but managed it quite easily.
Management/owners extremely helpful and pleasant.

A Brilliant site in every aspect.
Friendly and beautifully kept.
Its location is brilliant for walks and a visit into the town. A steep hill back but take it steadily and it will not be a problem.
The facilities are superb. The best.
This advertises dog friendly and really is. It has one of the best dogs walks on site of any site I have been to. The offsite walks are great also.
The owners are welcoming and informative
One of the best sites we have visited. Thank you

Excellent site. Well planned in all aspects, layout and facilities. Great views up hillsides and down the Valley. Watch the Kites circling, warm welcome from Owners. Very occasional/minimal road noise. Good walks and enclosed exercise field for dogs, plus the added bonus of the hot water shower and drying facility in the Dog Wash Room. The toilet and shower block is excellent; the same standard as a modern gym or leisure centre. This is kept spotlessly clean at all times. The site has a number of tiered levels, the lower west side looses the late afternoon sun at 3pm, whereas the higher east side basks in the sunshine for much longer. The village has all the services and local shops you would need; 5 mins by car (free parking), but a couple of long steep inclines if you decide to do the 1 mile walk. It's a great site and we will definitely return. Just wish it was open for more months of the year.

Just returned from a very enjoyable stay this unbelievable site. Just opened for the 2016 season, so much thought has been put into the designing and planing and now the visitors are reaping the benefits. The shower block is out of this world. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We visited the Elan valley dams, red kite feeding, Devils Bridge, and to top it off ospreys at the Clywedog nesting site. Will we be going back? try and stop us!

I have to agree with all the other reviews, that this is an excellent site with high class facilities, large level fully serviced pitch's, friendly owner's, as the site is new the toilet block is state of the art, temporally throwing me until I realised the taps, showers, toilet flush's are the 'wave of the hand' sensor type-(it does make me smile when reviews of some of the other sites we have visited say how fantastic the toilet block's are-they should visit here) the only thing missing, depending on your view, is piped music. The site is terraced and a lot of pitch's have nice views. The site has a road passing by and traffic noise is audible but intermittent, we travelled this road to aberdovey and the scenery is amazing and the nearby Clywedog Dam is worth a short visit. We didn't try the village or any of the walks so can't comment.
Well worth visiting
