We visited this camp site as it was in the public park and meant our grandchildren could play in the park and not be out of sight. We were put on the rally field and told the facilities were 30 seconds away (this was obviously at an extremely fast sprint) as we had to walk across 2 fields and negotiate fences and hedges to reach them. The only other alternative was to use the public toilets in the park which smelled badly and were locked at night, don't know what time they were opened but they were still locked at 9am. The showers were extremely hot as stated in other reviews, so it was a case of washing hands and face for the weekend. There is another camp site right next to Jubilee Park but they politely asked us not to use their facilities when we mistakenly thought that they were all part of the same complex.
Love Woodhall Spa with it's shops and the park and outdoor swimming pool but will in future use another site in the area when we visit.

This site is fine for a base to discover the sights of Lincolnshire. On the positive side at £17 a night it was definitely one of the cheapest sites in the area though I think the price rose a fair bit with extra people.
It is basically the public recreation ground for woodhall spa with a large outdoor pool. On hot days the area and pool were extremely busy. The camping site was pretty busy while we were there, tents and vans are pitched next to each other on numbered plots. These plots appear randomly placed which meant you were surrounded by others on all sides. The site was one of the more nosiest I have ever stayed on with packs of children playing till nearly midnight every night. One night my electric cable was unplugged presumably by a child and I woke to melted ice-cream all over the fridge.
Would I return? Definitely to the area as it was fabulous but I think next time we'll pay a little more to stay at a less public site. Others who like the nosier sort of camp were the kids can run freely and make friends will, I think love this site.

This was our very first experience at camping (brave at age 46!) so wanted to be somewhere close to home 'just in case'. Woodhall Spa is only about 40 minutes from home so based on other people's reviews we chose Jubilee Park. We couldn't have chosen a better place!
We were under canvas for 2 nights with no EHU but it looked like all pitches were serviced with EHU had we needed it. We were with our friends, another 'older' couple, in their caravan but was a little disappointed that we weren't pitched side-by-side.
There was other tents pitched next to caravans and the pitch next to ours was empty for the first night and then a caravan came for the second night. Maybe we looked like 'party people'! It wasn't a problem though as we visited each other to 'party'! There was loads of room around our tent.
A good number of toilets and never needed to queue. The water was very hot but there are signs warning this so I used a plug. Plenty of loo roll!
I can't praise this site enough. There was a play area that the children seemed to love, the swimming pool was very popular and it was walking distance (10 mins) from Woodhall Spa high street. We had to experience the Deli that everyone had recommended and Just Deserts. The first night we sampled the fish & chip shop and (thanks to a £10 win on the lottery) we decided to have an 'instant' BBQ for the second night buying the burgers, kebabs & racks of ribs from the butchers. The ribs were so good we stopped there on the way home and bought 3 more racks!
Overall, on the drive home my husband and I were planning when we could go for another weekend!
Would recommend to anyone!

We have been to this site on numerous occasions as it's not too far from our home. We love the site and the area.
I agree with previous reviews saying the water is scalding. On previous visits it's always been Very Hot but this last visit it was absolutely scalding and you couldn't even get under the shower. I didn't dare put the children in. We told the attendant and she came to turn the water down but it didn't seem to make a difference. She said she would call a plumber, but unfortunately the water was still as scalding hot the next day. The toilet blocks are old and in need of refurbishment and I hope that they are on the list of improvements to be made.
We had no problems with electricity cutting out on any of our visits.
The park is great for our children and Woodhall is a great place to visit. We can definitely recommend the ice cream parlour/cafe, quite reasonably priced and delicious.
Although there is no on site shop, I don't feel that this is a problem. Budgens and other local shops are just a short walk away.
The Kinema is great too and always has the latest films on show and the sweets are reasonable prices unlike most of the large cinema chains.
The staff have always been friendly and helpful to us. I do feel it would be of benefit to have a night warden though as sometimes people need assistance after hours.
Overall we love this site and look forward to the improvements at the end of this season. We will definitely be visiting again.

We have just returned from our first visit to Jubilee Park caravan site and these are our comments.
Positives:
The site does have a great position, tree lined and plenty of hedging, right in the park next to all the park's facilities and the outdoor pool.
The village and Kinema are only a five to ten minute stroll away.
The fees are not excessive and the pitch fee does include an awning.
The pitches are quite spacious and I believe they have been relaid this year for a better layout. Previous reviews do say it was cramped at peak times.
All the staff we came across were really pleasant and extremely helpful at all times.
Negatives:
We booked using their online service and sent a cheque for a 25% deposit, but we received no acknowledgement of our booking at all.
We were on pitch B32 and it had a gap in the hedge right where the new electric tower is set and the children seemed to use this as a cut through to the play area and twice when we got back after a few hours out, our electric cable had been pulled out !
There is no shop on site, for basics such as milk, bread and newspapers.
The toilet facilities are less than adequate, there is only one toilet block for a site of approx 100 pitches and in the ladies there are only three showers ! but there are eleven toilets ! The water as in the previous review ranges from non existent, cold dribble, to absolutely scalding hot and apparently they have been refurbished this year ! I would hate to see what they were like before.
A really loud alarm went off while we we there, it's very loud and woke us up in a caravan with all windows closed,it went on for about 15 to 20 minutes, so the tenters must have all been disturbed.
We probably would not stay there again
I appreciate the site has just been taken over and there were threats to close it down, so there would not have been any investment made up until recently, but they really need to take into account comments left here

Just returned from a brilliant bank holiday/royal wedding weekend visit to this lovely site. As previously mentioned the toilets and showers are dated but they were kept clean and tidy despite the site being busy.
The flatness of the pitches was a plus point for us,as was the new electric hook up points which seem to have had the teething problems sorted out.
The play park kept our little girl occupied for hours and with plenty of green areas, there's space for ball games etc. The outdoor pool wasn't open yet so cant comment on that but bowls, tennis and croquet were being played in this council run park, although we didn't use these. No site shop but village 5/10mins walk.
Woodhall spa itself is a pleasant village with a couple of small supermarkets, takeaways, a few shops etc and a large wooded area that is great for walking and cycling with a little cinema in the woods too.
Overall this is a family friendly site and if you look past the rough edges we would recommend it.

The communication prior to arrival was non existent, not even an acknowledgement of the deposit being received. This could be as the staff where still being recruited, and the site not fully open.
On arrival we were given a very warm welcome, the pitches are large and well laid out. The ground is flat and the drainage good. The electricity is newly fitted, as the grass over the cables had not grown back.
The shower / toilet block is completely inadequate for the size of site. In the men’s there are 6 toilets, only 3 have locks on them and 3 showers. Although cleaned daily, they looked dirty all the time. The ceiling has black streaks where the mildew has been spread around.
The shower fluctuates from cold to scalding. If you put kids in don’t leave them on their own!. On some occasions the water stops for no reason. This happened to my wife, who then had to try to get the soap off with no water.
On the first night the power went off on the whole site at 21:30 there was no number in the office and no one came. At 3:00 am the swimming pool alarm went off as there was no power to it. The temperature was cold with no heating. The manager came out and turned the alarm off, but didn’t know how to turn the power on and went home!.
The next night the power went off at the same time, but now there was a number to call and it was soon back on. On the third night the power went off at 2:00 am, although it was rectified after calling the number, there were several kids crying due to cold. The site has recently been taken over by the community, I hope they take these comments on board and spend some money on the toilets, the power was a fault and probably due to it being new.
We won’t be staying there again until there are a few reviews showing these have been sorted out.
The local shops are great and there is a fantastic cycle track close by called the river railway.

Being new to caravanning we wanted to make our first trip with our 4 year old Grandson reasonably close to home. Having searched the web for sites close to Nottingham with a swimming pool we decided on Jubilee Park from UKCampsite.co.uk and what a fabulous 4 days we have had.
The play area and the pool are excellent. There is plenty of space for bike riding for the little ones and a large grass area for older children to kick a ball around.
We will be returning numerous times this summer, and having raved about it to friends with children / grandchildren they are also booking for the summer hols. Its only downfall are the toilet blocks and showers which are a bit dated but kept very clean.
We hope it stays open for years to come as I'm sure the caravan site brings a lot of business to the town.

Visited this site with 4 other families. We did get 4 adjacent pitches but they were very small!
Not a problem as we were close to people we knew however, would not have wanted to be that close to strangers!
Toilet block was ok - reasonably clean and enough facilities. The kids loved the on site playground and the lido which was free to campers! They had a great afternoon in the pool whilst we lazed in the sun.
Apart from the small pitches, the other issue was noise from other campers. At least 2 separate groups partied until 3am with scant regard for anyone else- singing, playing guitars and laughing loudly and drunkenly. At least one group looked as if their caravan may be there all season.Be warned!
Would not visit again due to the noise. A shame as Woodhall Spa is a lovely place to go!

Lovely site but much bigger than anticipated and more expensive. £12.50 with hook up.
Good location near to town centre. Easy access to kinema in the woods and the sunday lunch at the tea house. Superb.
Never known such well behaved children on site. Lots of them but quiet even though were playing as kids do.
Will certainly go again. It the flattest site we have ever been to, no wedges or chocks needed.
