Fir Tree is a lovely site for a peaceful break. The site is very well kept, with good size pitches and has eight electric hookups. It also has a Rally field. The access to the site is very good, and the owner is very helpful and friendly. The surrounding area is the beautiful kent countryside. It has great dog walks in forest. Three minuets drive or about fifteen minuets walk down the road is The Lord Whisky tea rooms.
Dogs are welcome and there is a varied menu if you want lunch or cream tea and homemade cakes. I highly recommend this site.

Just Had a weeks rally at Fir Tree Farm, We found the owners to be most helpful even meeting me at the gate. Would recommend this site to anyone it would be perfect for either a stop over on the way to the continent or as we did a break to see East Kent as it is situated in a most central position. The members that rallied with me couldn't believe what a wonderful find this was.
In my scoring have dropped one point for the location but that is because there is no half points. But please follow the site-owners instructions on how to get there and you'll have a great time. The facilities are well kept and as noted in the description. Good value for money. I find myself having to give this site top marks.

Just returned from fir tree farm site in central Kent just around 10/20 miles from anywhere you would want to visit in Kent and just a few minutes from channel tunnel.
The site owner is really friendly and very helpful. The pitches are a fantastic size and informal also well maintained in a very quiet and pretty location with 5 minutes from a local shop and pub also a really good Chinese take away and sit down restaurant all within 2 minutes of each other.
Over all this site was spot on and would highly recommend for any one wanting either an overnight stopover before or after crossing channel by train (or ferry from dover )or as we did, a week visiting the kentish coast whitstable all the way down to dungeness with days out it was a really good central spot to strike out from. At the time we went (july 2013) the price was £9. 50 a night with faultless electricity supply. This I think was a fair price to pay but unfortunately not always the case as most sites these days seem only to eager to over charge for the most basic facilities, good on you and thanks for making us feel so welcome, we had a brilliant week at yours.

Fir Tree is a lovely site. Very quiet just the odd farm animal in the distance. It is very clean and tidy. The site offers water and waste facilities. Situated midway between Canterbury and Folkestone. Surrounded by fantastic woods but unfortunately for us it rained both days that we stayed. Fees are fantastically reasonable.
The owner is very welcoming and you get a real sense of friendliness. Although we didn't need any help I am certain we would have got any if needed.
There are no shops nearby so make sure you have everything you need. The local countryside is beautiful for walks and the terrain is very flat towards Caterbury making it excellent for cycling.
Folkestone is about 20 minutes and you can get a cheap crossing to France on the Eurotunnel.
We have already booked our next trip.

Visited this lovely quiet site in Windy October. Owners really nice people. If you are looking for pease and quiet in the Kent countryside then this site is for you. Nearby woods and walks. Good for dogs. Lovely open site with sheltering hedges and trees.
No toilet facilities but disposal point on the site and fresh water taps easily accessible. Although the weather was horrendous when we visited we will certainly be visiting again

LOVE THIS SITE! Very well kept, quiet and the owners very friendly. Cant do enough for you.
Will go there time and time again. Would recommend to anyone who wants peace and quiet in the country. The site owners were really accommodating, offering and prov
iding an electrical extension (long one) to the hook up. It is a basic site, water tap and chemical / waste disposal.
Well away from main road and very quiet. Just the chickens and farm traffic. Easy to find, and good access.
Great value for money. A real 'hideaway' site. Absolutely ideal!
Easy access to Eurotunnel, Dover docks etc. M20 just a few minutes away, so access all areas.
Lyminge Forest is just up the road with lovely walks for all the dog lovers.

Stayed here now a number of times in a caravan and very old(retro) trailer tent!. Wonderful site very peaceful. The owner, is lovely and can't help you enough, and makes sure that you will have a relaxing stay, so if you want a site that is noisy/or allows noise then this won't be the place for you!. If you want to come away very chilled out then it is. Will be going back time and time again. Many thanks.

We stayed on this site for Three nights. It is a lovely well kept site, with lush green grass. The spaces between the pitches was more than adequate.
The site owners were really accommodating, offering and providing an electrical extension (long one) to the hook up. It is a basic site, water tap and chemical / waste disposal. Well away from main road and very quiet. Just the turkeys and farm traffic. Easy to find. Exceptional value. A real 'hideaway' site. Absolute delight! Easy access to Eurotunnel, Dover docks etc. M20 just a few minutes away, so access all areas.

Just home from our second visit, lovely campsite lovely owners, you must have your own toilets and there are no showers but if you have these things then this campsite is excellent value for money. Very clean. Hook ups available. Plenty of space around unit and the field for children to play, some wonderful walks nearby we spent time at the nearby forest, children's play area 5mins walk. Close enough to other places of interest should you want to go. We cant wait to go back, even the bad weather didn't dampen our enthusiasm.

This is a fantastic site located in a peaceful setting with plenty of places to walk nearby, particularly if you have dogs with you.It has more than adequate CL type facilities. The owner is extremely pleasant and understanding, particularly as we had to delay our arrival for 1 day because of a fault on our car.
Try the Lord Whisky Animal Sanctuary approx 10 minutes walk away. Its located in an old pub (unfortunately the pumps have long dried up) but serves excellent food in its restaurant or Al fresco in the garden. The profits they make go to a good cause. Hythe is a 20 minute drive away with local supermarkets, RH&D Railway and the Royal Military Canal.
If you're the sort of caravanner/camper that dislikes the commercial sites with all their noise and fuss, then this is the type of small site that will not disappoint. We intend to return.
