Visited for three nights of mostly dry but very windy weather. Very presentable flat site close to main road. The wardens were very helpful and welcoming: first class.
Toilet block very spacious and spotlessly clean, with plenty of hot water. All the usual facilities, as you would expect from a Club site.
Access to the town is ten minutes walk beside the river. Jedburgh offers a reasonable choice of pubs, shops and supermarkets, plus the magnificent abbey and castle. 'The Sunrise' offers extremely good Indian food for a very modest price - very highly recommended.
The site is sheltered in most directions and although there are hardstanding for 'vans, some of the grass was soft and muddy. Grit from the hardstandings is one of my pet hates. Also, it's very difficult to get pegs into the hardstandings.

Our first visit to a Camping & Caravan club site and the wardens were extremely helpful and cheery. As we arrived nice and early to join friends on site there were quite a few pitches available but being new to caravanning the warden led us to a pitch that we could drive straight into without any tricky manoeuvring. Maybe the only comment I'd have would be about the gravel on the hard standing pitches which was small and gritty and did tend to carry into the van every time you entered.
Toilet/washing facilities were immaculate, site was nicely kept although it does sit on a through road to local playing pitches. Not a problem for us although at quieter times you could hear the regular thump, thump of balls being kicked just over the hedge.
Jedburgh is a nice town with decent pubs and a few restaurants which are within 10 - 15 minutes walking distance.
Would go back.

Very nice, friendly site. The shower blocks are kept immaculate. The play area for children is away from pitches which means it would be difficult to watch your children from your unit but as a plus-other campers are not disturbed by noise,
although the football/rugby pitch is on the other side of the hedge-so you can hear all the shouting on training nights and from the matches.
The local shops and pubs are only 5 minute walk away including a hardware store in case you forget any camping gear!

Friendly and peaceful site within walking distance of Jedburgh town centre, along a very nice riverside walk.
Both hardstanding and grass pitches were immaculately maintained.
The toilet block is spotless, clean & heated, more than big enough for the size of the site, with plenty of hot water.
The current site managers are extremely pleasant and helpful.
The motorhome service point was very well situated and designed.
The town of Jedburgh and surrounding area have a lot to offer, would also recommend a visit to Jedburgh Gaol, very interesting & free !.
Nearby Kelso has good easy parking for Motorhomes by riverside.
`Scottish Pride' cafe/restaurant on high street serves excellent Haggis meal, and butchers on high street provide excellent ready to heat meals.

Spent a night here on our way home from visiting other parts of Scotland. It's an excellent little site with good facilities and staff. It's a useful site for a stop off as its right on the A68 England-Scotland road.
The town of Jedburgh is a ten minute walk down the river and has many decent pubs, as well as shops and supermarkets. Mary Queen of Scots house, The Town Jail and Jedburgh Abbey are the main visitor attractions in the town.

Nice quiet campsite. Wildlife and child friendly with lists of recent sightings and colouring pages for the children.
Not a lot of space for tents but we weren't crammed in.
Facilities were locked for an hour each day for cleaning and it showed as they were beautifully kept large and faultless.
Nice village with lots to explore locally particularly the little villages.
Were quite a lot of 'rules' but nothing unreasonable and it obviously worked on this site.
Great for touring on the way back from Scotland.

This site has no entertainment facilities, and is therefore perhaps not very suitable for children. However, it was extremely peaceful, clean and friendly. We parked up opposite the reception in what seemed like a busy spot, but were not bothered by any noise or comings and goings.
The toilet block is spotless and cleaned thoroughly at the same time every day. It is also more than big enough for the size of the site. Hot water is plentiful. The current site managers are extremely pleasant and helpful. The motorhome service point was very well situated and designed. Both hardstanding and grass pitches were immaculately maintained. The site manager never stopped working on them while we were there.
The town of Jedburgh and surrounding area had more to offer than I had anticipated. There are fantastic walks of varying levels, very well signposted. There are also plenty of historic monuments dotted around the countryside to walk to. Harestanes Visitor Centre is very close and has lovely, easy woodland walks, some designed specifically for children, as well as a craft outlet. Jeburgh Castle Jail and the Abbey are both very impressive. One of the town's fish and chip shops, run by a German, has won prizes. Do not walk past The Cannon pub. Their Theakston's Best is outstanding and I have seldom felt so welcome in a local pub.
If you are looking for a friendly and peaceful site within walking distance of attractions, then this site is ideal. We could easily have spent another few days there.

Second visit to this site and it did not disappoint.
As always with the Camping and Caravan Club sites the area is well kept.
Shown to pitch by site manager and advised about pitching so tent and car are within allowed area.
Level field backing onto rugby club at one side and with a small stream running alongside another.
Toilets and showers cleaned daily(10:30-12:00, so be aware of this and visit before or after).
Site quiet despite being full and lots of friendly campers in a variety of units.
Handy place to stay when visiting Kelso for the Border Union Show which was our main reason for the visit but would return to the site any time.

On arrival at the site we were disappointed to find that the site was not as we expected. The picture that was shown in the brochure was of a strip of land surrounded with trees. On our arrival this piece of land was not being used. The caravan pitches were at the other end of the site overlooking the local football pitch, which was in use most evenings and weekends. There was access for use of the football field for vehicles to pass the caravans, which meant that there was traffic more or less all the time when the field was in use.
We did not find this to be a quiet site.
The wardens we found were very pleasant and helpful. The site was kept clean and litter free, but we found that the toilet and shower block could do with refurbishment although they were kept clean.
The town of Jedburgh was interesting with plenty to see and it was easy to get to various towns from where the site was based.
There is a pleasant walk along the riverbank that leads into the town.
Across the road from the site are a couple of shops one being the Edinburgh woollen mill and a fuel station also. Our stay was for two weeks which we did enjoy but for the position of where we were placed.

As all the reviews say a public road runs through it - and still it was one of the best sites we visited. That says a lot for the wardens and the site itself.
Its very clean and kept well. The wardens cant do enough to help and are very knowledgeable about the area. Jedburgh is well worth exploring and the were recommended to the 'Simply Scotland' restaurant - give it a try - fabulous food and very friendly owner.
Would visit this site again without a doubt - but would be wary if you have children with the road.
