Visited for three nights August 2006. Needed an electric hook up because husband is a diabetic and needs refrigeration for insulin. Very helpful and let us pitch in the caravan area, near to toilets as husband is also not good with walking. Downside - the toilets were very basic, never managed to get a hot shower, only 3 toilets and two showers (ladies) for whole site. No proper waste disposal area, only household bins which overflowed. Quite noisy from the local quarry and trains from same early in the morning.

Lovely campsite. Grass cut and well maintained. Ended up somewhere in the middle of the undulating field and managed to find a good, flat pitch. Owners very accommodating and helpful. Quiet campsite with good amenities. Am going again this week end.

We were on our first camping holiday on our Goldwing with trailer and we found this to be a lovely location for our first couple of nights. Lovely and peaceful, although the ground is sloping we managed to find a space. We also stopped here for one night on our homeward trip from our tour of Scotland.

We have just spent may day weekend on this site in a lovely setting near Grassington. The field slopes downwards & undulates, but we 3 families managed to find spaces together which were fine. Our children had great fun playing by the stream which runs at the side of the field. The toilets were clean, showers adequate, owner helpful. There was no extra charge for dog, gazebo. worth a return visit

Spent one night here last week and had a lovely time. It cost £8 for two people, one tent and a car (although I don't how the prices are worked out). Had a barbeque and generally chilled out. It was very quiet for a sunny Saturday night. Plenty of caravans but only 4/5 tents in the substantial tent area (although it was quite hard to find a flat pitch as the field sloped gradually and undulated in places). Also, the noise of traffic from the nearby road could be clearly heard (didn't bother me but may bother some). Toilets and showers all looked pretty new and they are in the throws of fitting out a disabled toilet. Two showers each for men and women may not be enough in the summer months though. Travelled the short distance to Grassington on the Sunday for the farmers market, which was fantastic (on the third Sunday of each month).
