We have just come back from a four night stay at the site. It is easy to find and close to the M4. The site is very clean and tidy with large pitches most hardstanding. The toilet blocks are key only and are very clean and up to a good standard. The children's room is good and we found the play are is okay. The site was very wet and the grass was holding up well. It will take about 20 minutes to get the best beaches. All in all a nice site

We stayed here at the end of a very wet summer and although the rain was only intermittent during our 4 day stay, the site was extremely saturated and the water did not drain away. Worse still, many of the hardstandings had no road access and were only accessible across large grass areas, making vehicular access to our caravan impossible. Road noise could be heard throughout the night and one day we even experienced the din of model car racing in the park behind the campsite.
The wardens were great and pulled us on and off the pitch. A very friendly team. The facilities were up to the normal excellent club standard.
Nearby there are off road cycle tracks to Swansea and Pembrey in the opposite direction, along old level railway tracks. Large out of town shopping both enroute to Swansea and Llanelli.
On reflection a good site, spoilt by unreachable hardstandings.

Within easy access to Swansea and the Gower, this was an excellent base. The toilets and showers were clean and hot and the staff very friendly. The pitches were of a good size and easy to access your van.
There is a site shop and a Tesco express less than half a mile away plus a Harvestor and other pubs within the village of Gowerton.
Nice wood to walk your dog. Well worth a visit.

A lovely site. Very easy to find, friendly welcome. Very clear site map and instuctions. As it was a quiet time of year we were welcome to have our pick of the empty sites and just let reception know where we were.
The toilet block was accessed by key. These looked as though they had just been refurbished as they were imaculate.
We had wet weather but the site was not at all muddy.
Very regular service points for water & waste.
A lovely area to visit with lots of history and beautiful beaches.
Had a wonderful meal at The North Gower Inn at Llanrhidian. Tasty food and very reasonable. Good service and friendly staff.

We visited this site during the sometimes very wet days at the end of June but despite this the grass pitches were still in use and holding up quite well with the site full. The water drained away well from the hard standing pitches but we needed our wellies for the roadways. The dog walk is a well kept circular tour which added interest to the routine "walkies". The glorious beaches of the Gower are close by and Oxwich in particular is well worth a visit by those with four legged companions as dogs are allowed on it all year. There are numerous restaurants and pubs within a few miles and the Tesco Extra with petrol station attached can provide most things We shall certainly visit again.

Fab site very easy to get to from the M4. Well placed for touring the Gower area. Great wooded dog walk area on site and also adjacent to large public playing fields for the kids ball games etc. Very clean modern facilities really busy this Easter but not crammed even when full. We would not hesitate to go again for a weekend with the kids.

This is a fairly typical CC site with good toilet blocks, laundry, toddler, and disabled facilities, in fact it has the largest disabled toilet/shower room I have ever seen. This room requires a RADAR key for access, one is available on loan for a £10 deposit. If you book ahead you can request a pitch near to the disabled facilities. The site is pretty level, with a mixture of grass and hardstandings, all pitches have EHU, and there are several service points, so even if you are away from the toilet blocks, you are never very far from water/waste/toilet emptying facilities. The site was busy, as you would expect in August, but there were never any queues for showers etc. The wardens were friendly and helpful, and there is a good information room giving details of the things to do and see in the area. There is also a children's play area. The only small problem we found was that, as the site is flat with good roads, there were a lot of children on bikes, some as young as 4 or 5, who took no notice of the one-way system on the site, or the rule about no cycling/skateboarding round the toilet blocks. This was quite worrying as they seemed oblivious to the coming and going of cars and caravans, and there were a couple of near misses. There were also a few incidents with children cutting across the gravel pitches on bikes and skidding on the stones, which resulted in quite a few grazed knees and hands. Obviously there is very little the wardens can do about this, really it is up to the parents to keep a better eye on their children. Despite the number of childen around, the site was quiet, especially at night, the only noise being the distant sound of traffic, but this was so minor as not to present a problem even for a light sleeper. Gas and bits and pieces are on sale at reception, and there is a small Tesco at the nearest petrol station about 10/15 minutes walk away. Details of the nearest shopping centre (about a10 minute drive) are given in the Information Room. This has a huge Tesco, M&S, Argos, Waterstones, MFI, Currys and several other stores. The site is well placed for visiting the beaches around the Gower Peninsula, and an easy drive into Swansea where the Waterfront Museum is worth a visit. There was much more to see both locally and slightly further afield, but we only had 3 days there!

Absolutely spotless, as is usual with Caravan Club sites, with excellent facilities. The best thing about this site is its convenience, close to the M4, close to the Gower, close to Swansea. The only downside was the traffic noise, both from the main road to Llanelli and the passing trains, but I'm being picky!
