 Been going to this site since I can remember and love it every time. There's something for everyone, if you like it quiet the sites just that or if you want a night out, there's a good few bars up town(about 10 walk). For the kids you've got a play park on site (which I'm led to believe is for under 12's) and along the road there's the play park at the promenade. Opposite the site there is a pitch and putt and across the park is the golf course (one of three).
There used to be a donkey derby, usually the third week in July, which is a great night for all, everything from betting on the donkeys to tombola and fun fair, thats usually held opposite the sports centre.
Anyway all in all I could rant about this place all year and I could still think of more great reasons to visit but have a few days there and judge for yourself.
p.s is great if you enjoy fishing or golf and you ladies can visit the COFFEE SHOP which is just at the town clock.

Nice site with good location next to a clean, sandy beach, but sheltered by sand dunes. Clean with good facilities. Has its own wee play park, and is a couple of hundred metres from bigger park beside a promenade with cafe. Pitch & putt too.
Half a mile from town with good shopping and eating. Tasty fish & chips from Mermaid Cafe in the high street. George Hotel has good bar suppers (kids allowed). Interesting museum (free). Two golf courses. Swimming pool. Plenty to keep you busy here for a few days. Recommended!
