We have used this campsite on a number of occasions heading to or from Calais. It's a great stopover, clean and friendly with a small supermarket in the village. The site is on a river for pleasant walks. Has a small play area and plenty of room for children to let off steam. The toilets are very clean and spacious with plenty of hot water. The wardens are friendly and there's a small shop for that emergency bottle of ice cold beer you forgot to pick up. We have never stayed more than a night but it is so relaxed and pleasant it would be easy to linger a while longer.

 Very pleasant site.

Pitches not formally separated, or numbered, but plenty of space between campers, even in August.

Nice walk along riverbank and into the village, where the little supermarket has everything you may need.

Toilets / showers clean if looking a bit old.

Great position, 5 mins from the motorway yet complete tranquillity. 30 mins to the centre of Reims.

If using a tent, make sure you have some decent pegs, the ground is seriously hard.

We had to change our route home from Spain and ended up with an overnight stop here. What a stroke of luck. The site is obviously used mainly for overnight stops but there were about half a dozen seasonal pitches being used. It's only about 10 minutes drive from the A26 and is well signed through the village.

This site is very well kept, we thought it was really pretty. The showers were spotless, there was electricity - in fact everything you need for an overnight stop.

Would I use the site for an overnight stop again - well no - I would need to stay three days at least - it's an excellent place to just relax in peace and quiet.

We spent two delightful nights in this lovely site. The automatic showers had some problems with one not shutting off and filling the block with steam but other than that no problems. The champagne region is wonderful although we had to do the 'tour' on Sunday and everywhere was shut. I'm researching the first world war and this site was wonderful for some of the battlefields and of course full of sadness when you see such a waste of young life. Still, we would certainly use this site again.

We stayed here for one night on our way south. We were due to head down to Lyon but my partner Tony felt too tired so we made an extra stop here. Just to echo what the other reviews have said, we found this to be a lovely little peaceful site. Big pitches which aren't marked but wasn't a problem when we were there as was fairly quiet. Toilets and shower block were very clean.

Nice walk into the centre and just off the main street is a good size supermarket.

I also noticed a bread van on site the next morning.

Warden was friendly and only charged us for 1 dog not 3 which was very kind.

Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Stayed here on our way down to Dijon and wished we had stayed longer but we were on a schedule, never again. I agree with all of the above review and can only add that the village it'self will only keep you intersted for a day. But the location of the site lends itself to some great touring. Our pitch was beside the river and it was so peaceful a long lead is required for electric.

There is a fairly steep slope down to this site, but no one appeared to have any difficulty negotiating it. The wardens were particularly helpful, both with advice on the surrounding area and when selecting a suitable pitch, which we were escorted to personally!
The security here is very good and no one seemed to be able to enter or leave without being seen by the vigilant warden.
This site is beside the river where fishing seemed freely available and you were also able to walk your dog.
The showers and toilets were clean and fairly modern and water was always hot. The pitches, although not marked or hedged seemed big enough for even the largest of outfits.
The site is on the outskirts of the village, and within 5 mins you can walk to the centre where there were the usual municipal buildings and a selection of shops.
This is a peaceful site and worth staying at for visiting the surrounding area or just for a couple of quiet nights.
