Lovely site surrounded by trees made it feel secluded and quiet.
Toilets and showers very clean and modern. There are washing up facilities and a play area for small children (swings etc). Site owners very sociable and friendly.
The site is about 25mins walk to the seafront. But bare in mind we are in our 70's and have an equally slow dog!
Younger campers would probably take much less time. Lidl and Herons about 10mins walk for us.
We enjoyed our stay at Ivydene and would certainly stay again and therefore would recommend the site to other campers.

Absolutely brilliant the site is about a mile from the beach and town and couldn't be better placed.
The hosts Graham and Sue were great and the facilities are magnificent.
Highly recommended and we will be back.

Booked a last minute pitch for one night with our camper to visit our parents, the only bad thing was, we only had one night there 😃
The owners were very friendly,
A peaceful lovely well maintained site, spotless everywhere and the shower / toilet facilities were similar to a lot of 4 star hotels we have stayed in
We will definitely be back for longer next time

A lovely, small, quiet campsite. We booked 2 plots as we were travelling with others. The owners gave us plots opposite each other, which was what we had asked for.
The showers/toilet block was very clean, as was the dish washing area.
They have a little play area on site for the children and there is a garage next door that sells the essentials.
All the other guests was friendly as were the owners. We have booked again!

This site was perfect for us after a long lockdown.
Everything we needed. Places to cycle to, easy walking, on the coast and local transport. Ideal.
Facilities are excellent here and other sites could learn from them. Well spaced pitches.
Will definitely go again.

We have stayed at Ivydene a number of times now. The site has never left us down and that is down to Sue and Graham. Since we were last there they have built another toilet block (for ladies only) and an accessible toilet on top of the already brilliant quality existing toilet block (now for men only).
They are kept spotlessly clean which is a let-down with many sites we have visited. There are washing-up sinks now outside both toilet areas as well as water points.
The pitch areas are now clearly defined. There is a clearly marked rubbish areas giving details of what things to put in what bins so some can be recycled.
The site is perfectly situated in relation to a local newsagent and further down the road is a Lidls and Co-op along with all small shops and some indoor markets.
The location to the sea is perfect and Mablethorpe is a blue flag beach. The only thing that would make this site for us a 10/10 site is to have wi-fi access as in this day-and-age a lot of people need to stay in contact whilst they are away.
We would not hesitate to recommend this site and we will certainly be back again this year.

What a little gem this site is. The facilities are the best we’ve experienced in all our 50 odd years of touring.
It lies in a convenient spot for Mablethorpe and there are well maintained walks nearby and quiet roads to cycle and the seafront promenade is for cyclists and walkers and goes to Sutton on Sea and beyond.
Definitely going again. Sue and Graham are a lovely friendly, helpful, couple.

Everything we could wish for on this newly updated site. It has been our favourite site since we found it a few years ago when it was a CL. Since last season there have been additions of more toilets and showers with disabled facilities for which you will need a radar key.
There are clearly marked generous pitch areas for Caravan/Unit awning and car.
Hidden gem of a site, well-kept with modern and clean facilities and so convenient for shops with a garage very close by, Lidl Supermarket 15 mins walk from site and Mablethorpe beach 1 mile away with other beaches within a short drive or cycle ride. Small cinema for non beach day.
On the main street there is a young children's inside play area named Cheeky Monkeys (not expensive and convenient as you are able to get in and out during the same day as they stamp the child's hand). Children have to wear socks, but they do sell them inside. Well-used by our granddaughter up to last year and now she is 8yrs.
Sue and Graham are great hosts, very helpful and friendly and the site is a credit to them.
