Lovely little site we came across unexpectedly, we stayed 2 nights but wished it could be longer. Made to feel very welcome by owner when we arrived on bicycles. 2 nice spacious camping fields, toilets and showers.
Nice, no hassle camping - perfect way to get away from it all.

Fantastic place, kids loved it! The field was basically mowed around the outside with long grass in the middle. I liked the fact that cars were not allowed in the field too. Everyone there was very friendly Farmer let them collect eggs and feed sheep. We will be going back!

This is a real 'get away from it all' site! We went on a last minute weekend away with my sis & her family. It's quite difficult to find, but they're very helpful in the pub directing you! We went to the wrong part of Pilgrims Way and ended up having to unhitch, turn the caravan and then hitch up again (all in a tight country lane!). Once found it is lovely, just one big open field, select your own pitch, some hook-ups available and away you go. We had lovely weather and the kids really enjoyed the freedom to ride their bikes and play games in the huge field! (All cars are parked off site in adjacent car park) There are loads of walks nearby and horses are kept in adjacent fields. The owners are really friendly and helpful, the 'farmer' seems to do a morning stroll to say 'hello' every day. Would recommend and we will return! Toilets and showers where good and clean, washing up area, with fridge and freezer. Great site for short breaks and trips with friends.

Really enjoyed this site. The owners of the farm are the nicest couple you are likely to meet. It feels really safe for children and you feel like you can completely relax. We went with our 11 month old twins and they had a great time enjoying all the freedom. The site has some electric hookup though we needed two sites together and unfortunately there were none free, due to campers (not using hook up) parking themselves in front of the hook up. We were however able to move the next day. Lots of families seem to use this site or people doing 1 night stop overs from or to the channel tunnel. The site offers only basic resources, toilets and showers are free there is also a laundry room which has a microwave and fridge freezer that are free to use. The farm is a working farm and you are able to walk round and look at the animals. The farm is not well signposted so it did take a couple of attempts to actually find but, the village it is situated on is lovely and very friendly. All in all we had a great time, and will definitely go here again especially if we were going with a group of friends.

First time we have stayed on a campsite where the only facilities are a toilet and no entertainment for the kids. Even though the weather was not great we really enjoyed ourselves. The kids loved walking around the farm and feeding the horses. Having fresh eggs in the morning was a delight. The site is on a working farm and you can stroll through the fields where all the lambs are. The owners are fantastic and want to make your stay a pleasant one, the toilet block is OK and kept clean and showers are hot all the time, with no extra charge. I would recommend this site to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and want to get back to nature. We hope to return

June 2005 Well what can we say.... we took an 8 berth tent with electric hook up. 2 adults, 2 children aged 15 and 5. The children went on bike rides every day. There is a fridge free of charge for any essetials and wonderful clean shower and wash facilites, there is also fresh free range eggs available daily from the farm.
The hospitality is second to none as well as very good company all around. You have the freedom to walk through the valey with sheep around you and beatiful countryside. Around the corner is a beautiful pub, or a short drive into Ashford for a selection of shops, my favourite was the Nike shop with clothing for £5. this was one of the best sites i have been to so far.

May 2005 The site is very pleasant and the owners are very friendly. The amenities are of a good standard, although there was a wait for the showers in the morning - get up earlier! (Having said that, it was Bank Holiday weekend and there was a pretty full site). No cars on the field except for unloading/loading.
We've no young children but we noticed that the site was very popular with families with kids, all of whom by the end of the weekend were mixing in and having a great time. It's a kids' delight, being able to run about all over the site and see the animals.
The surrounding are is stunningly beautiful and there are loads of great walks on the Pilgroms' Way and the North Downs Way. We'd throroughly recommendit

May 2005 A brilliant site. Relaxed, friendly, and quiet set in beautiful surroundings. Good basic facilities. Good for children. The camping field is seperated from the parking area and there are horses, sheep, lambs and friendly sheepdogs. Would definitely use it again.

A superb spot not far off the M20 - to be honest never really noticed the traffic. Nice flat pitch - plenty of space in between tents so we felt on our own. Great facilities all part of the pitch fee which I thought was real good value at £3.50 per night per person. We did the walk to the church and reservoir and and a bbq in the church yard with the ducks!! A lovely tranquil area with a great pub we visited in the evening. A slight slope to walk up on the way back from the pub to the site- (a tip from Stew) - "take a torch to see your way back to the site lanes are pretty dark as there is no street lighting." Although we didn't eat food at the pub - apparently they do a wicked sunday lunch and the desert board looked very inviting. We had a game pool and sat outside on one of the hottest days of the year. The owner of the site was very welcoming and informative. We thoroughly recommend this site for families as well as couples looking for tranquility, hospitality, and a base for those walking Pilgrims Way.

May 2004 Loved it! Just turned up without booking on a weekend where I called up 15 other sites, all of which were full. Lovely field with long grass for the kids to play in and cut grass for pitching up on. Very relaxed and quiet, despite lots of extended family groups with lots of children. Lovely farm with Sheep and horses. Plenty of strolling in fields and North Downs Way at the end of the road - (walked to Home farm with its ruined church - who lives in that big house?). Bring earplugs to dull the noise of the M20 at night and very noisy birds and sheep at 4.30am, otherwise idylic retreat.
