We stayed at Plas Gwen for only one night as we drove through the area. The site was very easy to find and has its own drive off the A4086. The greeting was warm and friendly and the reception also houses a well stocked small shop. The site itself is laid out in different areas and all the pitches are quite large. The toilet block was clean and the showers roomy. A nice quiet place to stay but nothing within walking distance even though Llanberis is only 3 miles away.

We liked this site so much we decided to site the caravan there for the season. There is a B&B too for when family want to visit. Good location for local attractions with small chop on site. Nice clean facilities. A small play area for the kids would be the icing on the cake.

Thought this was a great site for camping, the area for tents had numbered pitches so it's easy to tell where to pitch tent and park car. Good facilities, and shop stocked a small range of essentials.
Not much in the immediate area, so not so good if you fancy a pint at the local in the evening! But it's not far from Llanberis which has a good selection of shops / cafes / pubs.

Myself and 2 of my children camped here for the second time in june and had another great time .
The owners are only too willing to help with any needs you might have. Toilets and showers are small but very clean and the facilities for washing are very good. Would recommend this site to anyone camping in the area and very convenient for walking around Snowdon.

This was our first experience with our caravan and what a lovely peaceful site. Many vans were permanently sited and considering it was Bank Holiday, it was very quiet. We booked two pitches together with friends and we weren't disappointed. If you can, book a pitch at the top of the field, although it is furthest from toilets/showers, the views of Anglesey are amazing and you get most of the sun until late. The children played happily with plenty of space to play football.
I would recommend the Glyn Twrog pub (R toward Llanrug), it doesn't look much inside but food is amazing. Booking a table to avoid missing out. We left the car there and got a taxi back for £3.

Nice small campsite, owners made us very welcome. The field for tents was in good condition despite the recent wet weather. We had the choice of pitch, the ground firm & well kept. Toilet & shower block kept nice & clean with plenty of hot water and free showers which were also ideally hot. Two things which we agree that need for the site are entrance doors on the toilet/shower block and also some type of heating as it was quite cold during our visit.
All in all a good site to stay and very reasonable, £40.50 for two of us for 3 nights including hook-up. Would visit again.

Very clean and good facilities. Peaceful relaxing campsite. Enjoyed our visit, would definitely visit again.
Staff all friendly and helpful. Large pitches with plenty of room to spread out if required. Had a small shop on site and a laundrette which we didn't use but handy to visit for all the tourism leaflets. Just a small drive to Snowdonia and caernafon.

Just had a great weekend at this campsite, the camp itself is clean and tidy, showers and toilets adequate. Owners are helpful and seem only too happy advise if needed. About 10 mins from foot of snowdon in car which we were there to go up. Only grumble was there was very little near by . To be honest `IT DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE CAN.`

This was our first camping trip in a tent and what a great site we chose for our first trip. There were only 9 pitches for tents which meant that it was very quiet and we had enough space for our 6 berth tent and the car. The toilets and showers were very clean and even though there were only 2 showers for the men and a further 2 showers for the women, we never had to queue for them. We had great weather over the bank holiday weekend which helped, but it got very cold over night, so the electric hook up came in very handy as after the first night of freezing weather we went out and bought an electric heater to take off the chill. I would suggest that the owners add some pictures to their listing as the site is very well maintained and worthy of some great photos. All in all a great site and the perfect place for our 1st camping experience!

This was a lovely campsite, very peaceful, and had a large grassy / playing area in the middle of the touring caravans where our 3 children played happily and safely. The facilities were cleaned regularly and there was always fresh soap and toilet rolls provided in the toilet blocks, there were only 2 showers in the womens block, but never any queue to use them, these were also very clean. The only problem we encountered, was that at night, it was very dark on the site. We are going back again in May and will be taking torches in case of trips to the toilet block with the children. However, once you are at the toilet blocks there is plenty of lighting. Overall, a wonderful, relaxing and very clean campsite.
