Just arrived home from Invercoe. Lovely site, well maintained and has everything you could possibly need. Unfortunately we had rain on arrival, rain on first night, rain second day, rain second night and you guessed it rain the last morning. The sun came out and the boy next to us was having a BBQ as we were leaving. Just our luck!

Other than the weather the only other thing that killed me was the Jacobite Midge. Aggressive wee blighter who preys on the blood of innocent campers. Don't get me wrong the campsite has midge machines and if you are organised you will take a good citronella burner and that helps a lot.

Well there's the bad things out of the way. As you can see the owners can't control the weather or nature but what is in their control is cleanliness, hot water, facilities, spacious pitches, plenty of water and disposal points. They do a great job with all these things.

When we arrived with our three chihuahuas we were advised to take a grass pitch instead of the hard standing shore pitch (which was lovely) that we booked. We had a pen and windbreakers for the dogs so the hard standing wouldn't have worked. The pitch we ended up on was perfect, although I would try and arrive early to get the front row next time above the shore pitches. The views are delightful. We walked the dogs down the shore pitch and watched the seals perform a swim by. Brilliant.

We went to Oban, Tralee Bay and a wee drive through the local roads which I know quite well.

Went to an old skiing haunt. The Clachaig. This place has gone right down hill food wise but still has it as a pub. We should have taken the owners advice and tried the Laroch instead but I wanted The Clachaig.

Would I go back to his site??? Yes, but as discussed with the owner id want the weather to be dry and maybe take a rod and reel with me next time. Shop could open a wee bit longer at night but there's plenty about off site.

Overall excellent value and although there were a few kids they were all well behaved and the wee swing park on site keeps them occupied.

There aren't many places beat the Glencoe area, if you fancy stunning views, plenty of walks, sports and good hospitality then hook up your caravan and drive it to Invercoe.

Very impressed family run campsite very friendly and helpful fantastic views surrounded my mountains the pap of glencoe and loch leven is stunning great set up for tents motorhome's caravans little shop on site wifi available [although have to pay for each device we had laptop and 2 smartphones but found out it only covered 1 device but ok with that]weather was fantastic and no midges but they can appear from time to time, toilets were clean and looked after will defo return might try there hobbit houses next time, there is a co op in kinlochleven around 5 mile from site but there is a little nisa shop in the village just down the road. Also a covered area with benches for cooking on and a small playpark for kids and fun fishing from the pier also good for launching boats kayaks canoes. Met very nice couple from peebles who had been many times and recommended places and things to do. C&T.

We have visited Invercoe on a number of occasions and found the facilities to be excellent, all staff are very pleasant and very helpful. The shower block is always clean and a hot shower after a day on the hills is what you need.

The shop provides all your immediate needs while nearby is a CO- OP with a wider selection, Great laundry and drying room available also.

There is a kids playground which has what you need to keep the kids occupied while you put up the tent or prepare food.

Invercoe is well situated for a variety of interest's, the famous mountains and lochs provide an excellent backdrop when you step out of your tent in the morning.

Glencoe itself has a number of shops and hotels with Fort William nearby providing all that you would expect from a medium sized town.

At Invercoe your are well placed for touring the north west of Scotland, Skye is only two hours drive.

Looking forward to our next trip to Invercoe already.

We recently visited invercoe campsite on our first camping trip.

The campsite was amazingly clean, owners could not have been any more helpful and willing to answer any questions we had as this was our first camping trip.

The midges where a bit of an issue the first night we went to the shop on site where owner was ever so helpful and let us know the best stuff to by which worked great.

I will be back to visit the site and have recommended the site to friends.

Great location right on the loch. Easy access for kayaking. Lots of bird life out there too. Great views towards loch and back to mountains. Good walks and cycle trails nearby.

Shower block more than adequate and was kept clean. Useful shop and local information. Friendly owners who help you find a suitable pitch.

A great choice of site.

A beautiful site in really stunning settings. We stayed for the holiday weekend in May, and were so lucky with the weather.

We had a fully serviced pitch, right on the shoreline. And it was great not having to fetch water and empty grey water - the caravan can be parked right over the drain on each pitch.

Facilities are first class - toilets are spotless, and the shop is adequately stocked. Top that up with a really friendly, couple of owners and what more could you ask for.

The only downside was the midges - some of them so small they just looked like specks of dust, but they let you know they were there. No one told them about hte midge machine!

Stunning scenery all around and Ft William and the Nevis range only 30 mins drive.

We'll definitely be back.

First time visiting, and wont be the last. The site is situated at the bottom of Glencoe, with all its majestic scenery. Our pitch was faultless, the facilities very good and with the sea loch on the door step a bonus for the kids. We took the kids down to the small beach at night and had a wee campfire, this was a massive hit for the kids. We did clean up the small fire prior to going away, don't want to spoil a fantastic area. Really looking forward to going back.

Site is excellent. Clean, tidy, well laid out. Warden was very friendly with advice on pubs and restaurants. Weather was in the 70s. Freak conditions for January ( joke). Toilets are big warm and very clean no complaints at all first class site. Obviously being in Scotland the surrounding scenery is stunning with views along the river into the loch. Of course all the facilities needed for a motorhome in toilet flush area and fresh water at points all around the site.
