A good Camping and Caravan club site.
The pitches aren't level so take some chocks, there are some housebricks on the site to help level the caravan.
Toilets and showers were adequate, did the job and very secure(A code is needed for the toilet and shower block).
There are plenty of supermarkets in the area Morrisons ,Asda, Aldi and Sainsburys.
There is a B&Q very close to the site should you need anything.
I did notice there were plenty of pubs in the area. Quite a few offered 2 meals for £10 or similar offers.
I would use this site again.
I wished the weather was a lot better for us.
The positives were that we met a nice couple who helped us put up our awning and offered us some of their vast knowledge.

Stayed here (2 walkers with tent, no vehicle) in the large field (non- CC club members). Gave us a discounted price (12 pounds) because no vehicle. About 20 minute walk from Weston Milton train station which is one stop (3 minute ride) away from Weston Super Mare. The field where we stayed in was huge and not very busy at all (not sure why the comments mention that there's cramped space - they might be referring to the vehicular sections) - there would have been plenty of space even with 100 tents. The showers and dish cleaning area were clean and close to the field. Tesco express (open til 11 even on Sunday) was conveniently close and site was very quiet in the evening. Reception was not around when we arrived but there's a caravan next to it with someone who helps out and we ended up paying later on. Very pleased with this site and nice to be a bit away from Weston Super Mare without the crowds but still fairly convenient. If walking from Weston Milton, not picturesque or convenient (some walking paths but also some busy roads ) but the walk wasn't too far. Very pleasant site for a quiet, relaxing weekend.

We like this site and have been a couple of times now. The location is good if you want to be a little distance away from the main tourist area, it's a reasonably easy cycle ride into Weston.
Site is flat and large and, if it isn't too busy the large field is excellent for kids to play in.
Toilet and shower facilities are good and clean.

This would have been our second C&CC site. But I didn't read the book properly! This is one of the few sites that close on 1st Oct not 31st!
A chap came over from the other campsite opposite and said if we were members they would put us up at the same discounted price (a very nice offer), and looked a lot more level.
However we thought it was a long way out of Weston so didn't stop. Very easy to find, right next to the helicopter museum, but a drive through a grotty industrial estate, however both sites looked well looked after. Large Morrisons with cafe and fuel not far away.

I wonderd why this site was not fully booked like most of the camping and caravan sites over the Bank Holiday weekend. Well I found the answer when we arrived. Very very small site. If you have kids dont since when full there is hardly anywhere for them to play with out a ball hitting a tent or caravan. No play area.
The toilets clean but only four in the gents. With one lock not working. Very suprised at the standard of this site since its a campaing and caravan club. If desperate go here if not plenty of much nicer places to pitch on.

Lovely quiet site but you will need your chocks on most pitches as the slope is steep in places. We even needed a leveller under the jockey wheel. Pitches at the bottom of the site, furthest away from the toilet / shower block, are on the level. The warden helped to site the van, which was much appreciated and there was no problem with us arriving really early (telephoned in advance to warn them) and wait on an empty pitch until ours was available - certainly not something I have been offered on other sites and which meant we could avoid the bank holiday rush - great! Small shop on site which sold all the basics (including new laid eggs) but there are 3 large supermarkets all within a 10 minute drive, so no problems stocking up with provisions. Toilets and showers were spotlessly clean with bags of hot water and the site wardens were helpful and welcoming. Showers were on the small side. Dishwashing facilities are outdoor but under a roof cover The site is well placed to visit lots of local attractions but far enough away from Weston Super Mare town centre for the site to feel 'rural'. Don't be put off by the approach road which goes through an industrial park as once you leave this behind, the view from the site is good. My only moan would be that the play area equipment was out of action during our stay (being refurbished). Hopefully there will be a big improvement here which we may benefit from - long term. Overall - a well run site which I will definitely be using again - also a useful stop off point from the M5 (only 10 mins from motorway).

We stayed over at this site for a few nights on the way back from Cornwall. It was OK but definitely in need of updating. The toilet blocks were clean but dated - shower cubicles were on the small side. The pool table in the games room was ripped and we couldn't use it. The wardens, however, were great - very friendly and helpful. Basics were sold from the office and the games room had a few toys and games to use which were good for the kids. The site itself slopes considerably. It is basically just a sloping field, which could cause problems in wet weather for caravans. However, the views are fantastic over Weston-super-mare and the pitches are sunny. There is some hard standing around the edge of the site, which is easier to use, but these pitches are quite shady. There is plenty to do in the area and Weston-super-mare is worth a visit. The site is also an easy stop off as close to the M5 (but not close enough to roads to be noisy.)

Good location, but not many level pitches! You will need the chocks just in case, as the most of the site is on a slope. Good area for ball games and younger kids should enjoy the open space. Not much within walking distance, so you will need to use a vehicle for exploring. Good site for a weekend away.

Nice friendly warden. Campsite sloping but this gives good views over the village. 10-15 minute walk to local pub which also serves food. Facilities very clean. Supermarkets were 5 minutes drive away. This is a good site to get to with a touring van as there are no narrow country lanes to negotiate. Will definitely return.

May 2004 Stayed on this site to attend a job interview nearby. Sadly very poor and old fashioned shower and toilet facilites and so few of them you had to queue every time. Crammed in pitches with no views except your neighbours which did nothing to make it more appealing. Okay in an emergency for one night but not a holiday site.
