We store our caravan at Bron Derw and have done so for some years now. We also stay on the site a couple of times every year.
We are very happy with the arrangements for storing at the farm. Very organized and professional.
When we stay on the site we are always so impressed with the way that it is run. It is spotlessley clean, and the park is very pleasing on the eye. The owners are constantly striving to improve the facilities and look of the site.
The park is very well laid out and the little extras that they provide are helpful. Eg. They will bring your caravan out from the storage area to the park before you arrive should you request. And this for a very nominal fee.
They have added a new park this year. It opened at Easter. It has adult only pitches and also several pitches for seasonal hire which is proving to be very popular.
The owners are extremely friendly and helpful.
This site is a fairly small site, and therefore does not have a shop on site etc. For this reason I am not able to give it the full marks for site facilities. Personally I do not find it a problem to walk to the shop for my newspaper in the mornings. All good exercise!

Fab, fab, fab!
What a site, immaculate facilities, peaceful, helpful owners. Really had a wonderful break here for my birthday. Town easily accessible on foot/bike, where buses and trains could be used for travelling further afield.
There is even a sherpa bus to get you to Lanberris for Snowdon with a flat fare of £1, not worth using the car for that price! plenty of cafes and places to eat in town plus co-op and spar for shopping, banks, chemist and take away.
Even a bike shop for parts/repairs if your unlucky enough to have your bike break like me!There is a market on Tuesdays as well.
We stayed on the adult only section of site which has only been open since April, the pitches are large and flat, but the ground did not hold pegs very well due to being too soft even rock pegs were coming out!
They even have a wash line and pegs for use if you want, and a dog wash.
Cannot recommend highly enough, is sure to please all visitors.

We loved being on the 'Adults only' site so much we have rebooked for August.
Very quiet site within a very easy walking distance of the lovely town. Very good co-op store in the town.
All facilities very clean - showers not the hottest we have encountered but this is a very, very minor negative. You need to 'push' the button several times for the warm water to come through. Lovely doing the washing up in the spotless utility room watching the rabbits in the field beyond.
Llanrwst is so convenient to have as a base to this beautiful part of Wales as it is easy to either get the train / drive / catch the bus to places such as Llandudno and Betws y coed.
The pitch sizes are enormous and fully serviced. All in all our very favourite site so far this year. Love it.

This was our first visit to the site. We stayed on the Family site. They also have a CL and a new adult only site. All 3 sites were immaculate.
Pitches are an excellent size and all fully serviced with digital tv coverage. The facilities are the cleanest we have ever seen and there was never a queue for showers.
Llanwrst is a small town with a few shops but there is a train station with good connection to Llandudno and Betsw y Coed. Check train times as they only run every 3 hours or so. Dogs are allowed on the trains.
We will certainly be back.

Stayed ar this C L site earlier this month. We were very impressed with the site, and the facilities on offer. Enjoyed our stay so much we will be returning later in the year.
The owners of the site are very helpful, and they have spent a lot of time and money to bring the site up to its current standard.
The site is within easy walking distance of the town centre, where there a number of shops and places to eat.
No real negative things to say re the site and the owners, so we would recommend the site to anyone.

First visit to this site, but it certainly will not be the last, we are booking to go back again in July and September.
The site is immaculate, beautifully maintained, the toilet/shower block, whilst small, was always very clean and tidy.
We were on the CL site, and we lacked for nothing. Each pitch had its own water, electric and waste, fantastic.
The local village was a pleasant walk away, very good Fish and Chip Shop. Not many shops, but for the basics you don't feel like you are missing out.
Beautiful walks just over the bridge at the bottom of the village.
The owners Mr. And Mrs. Edwards, are very pleasant and obliging.
Good dog walk, you can let them off the lead and they are quite safe.

We had 10days of chilling out. First time to this site but booked to go in Oct, when we got home this year and June next year whilst we were down their,
Toilets and showers are spotless. The whole site is clean and tidy, Berly and John the owners are lovely people who made my wife and I feel really welcome.
Town only 5 mins walk away, supermarket open until 7pm but the Spar open till 11pm.
Stunning location handy for coast or Snowdon. Train up Snowdon expensive and a trip into Electric Mountain well worth it.
Marks out of 10, 10
Being a site warden myself at a site in Gods County ie Yorkshire, it was nice for me to relax and Bron Derw relaxed me fully.
Well done and keep up the good work. Will definitely recommend this site.

This was the first time we had used our camper and indeed the first time we had visited a caravan park.
The site was lovely, with large pitches surrounded by well kept lawns.
The toilets, showers (2 each in the ladies & gents) and dishwashing facilities / laundry area were immaculate.
The position was superb - 5 minutes walk from Llanrwst town centre and the railway station which will take you to Llandudno or Betws-y-Coed and Ffestiniog.
Mr & Mrs Edwards were very welcoming and helpful.
Excellent value for money.
What more could we ask for? A very enjoyable first time. We will be back!

We only live an hour's drive away with the van and we stay on this site at least twice a year. The owners Beryl & John are lovely and the site is immaculate. All pitches are fully serviced, hardstanding and they are huge! The toilet block is very clean. The showers are hot and free, there are only two cubicles but it never seems to cause a problem.
It's a laid back quiet site and children enjoy themselves despite there not being 'specific' children's facilities. Llanrwst town centre is a short walk away with all amenities including a nice park over the bridge next to the river.
All in all, it's a lovely place to stay and value for money.

There are two touring caravan sites at this location, a small commercial site and a CC CL: we stayed on the CL. Although the ground area of the CL is quite small, it is nicely laid out on all hardstandings and access was very easy. Pitches slope very slightly - levelling blocks may be required - and some are under trees (rain sounds like machine-gun fire on the roof!). The site was immaculately maintained - grass closely mown, toilets regularly cleaned. There is a shower adjacent to the owner's house, but we didn't use it so can't comment on this. Each pitch has a TV aerial connection, though reception through our directional aerial (vertical polarisation) was also fairly good. No digital reception at present. The hardstandings proved too hard for our awning pegs - you need to pitch so that the awning can be pegged onto the grass.
The adjacent commercial site also looked to be immaculately maintained - again all hardstandings - and pretty generous sized pitches. Presumably the toilet / shower block would be more up-market than the CL with more facilities, but then you would pay more. Both sites were very quiet when we were there (during school term) with no road / people / dog noise. Highly recommended - we intend returning some time!
Bron Derw site is within easy walking distance of Llanrwst - shops, pubs, eating places, library (free internet) etc, and is only four miles from Betwsycoed. Excellent centre therefore for visiting Snowdonia. Bodnant gardens (NT) are only a few miles up the road towards Conwy - most impressive even to a non-horticulturist!
In the unlikely event that you should have some rain, a visit to Dinorwig pump hydro power station at Llanberis is an excellent 'indoors if wet' outing (20 miles). You can't get much more indoors than this - and on a bus at that!
