We had one large tent with four adults, the price was very reasonable at £5 per night per person with no charge for pitch.

The site itself was lovely, kept tidy and clean. Although there is only one shower and one toilet for both ladies and gents this didn’t really cause a problem there were queues first thing in the morning but apart from that no problems. They were kept spotlessly clean.

The site had a washing up area with plenty of free hot water. The site does not offer any other facilities however this suited us just fine.

The site does have ducks and geese, the ducks wonder around the site which seemed great fun for the children on the site.

The site owners there lovely friendly people.

You can buy fresh eggs from the farm house which everybody did and enjoyed.

Will definitely be going back!

I stayed on the site on may bank holiday weekend and was very happy with every thing I found, the toilets and shower block were very clean, The site it self was very well looked after and the owners were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was to much trouble.

We have booked to go again for a week this on august bank holiday can't wait, very highly recommended.

What a lovely site, very tranquil and peaceful indeed with amazing views over the sea. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Numerous times a day you would get a visit by the owners ducks, who would come to the door to be fed and there dog was very friendly too. There are only 5 pitches, with only 3 of them having elec hook up. Due to location having more pitches would be a bonus to the owners, as I normally travel with other caravan owners, except for this one occasion.

The first thing that needs to be said about this campsite is that I really think it is the best I have ever been to!

I don't think I could find a single flaw with my stay at this site (apart from the weather maybe, but I cant really blame them for that).

It has the most friendly owners I have ever met who made us feel very welcome on the site and no doubt would have done anything possible to make our stay a nice one!

The only real problem I could see happening with this site is if there were more people then when I went (about 15-20) as there was only one shower and one toilet, which I could see being a bit of a problem. They however were very clean.

There is a coastal path about 5 mins walk from the path which is a lovely walk (we saw a few seals and dolphins from it).

Lastly, it needs to be remembered that this campsite is very close to the sea so it does get very windy, so take care when picking where to pitch your tent.

I am definitely going to go back to this site!

A truly hidden gem! A fantastic site, with all that you could ask for; wonderful views of both sea and mountains, right on the doorstep of the coastal path - in fact, after just 10 minutes of walking on it from the site, we came across a lovely quiet bay where there were crabs the size of footballs!
There was a really nice, friendly pub just a 10 minute walk down the country lane serving delicious home-made food and New Quay itself only took about 20 minutes to walk to with it's shops, pubs and restaurants and of course, the bay.
The site itself was really peaceful, the owners were really just genuinely lovely people who were so welcoming. They have a little pond there with ducks and geese and also next to the site they have another field with sheep, which was also really nice. Their dog was lovely and friendly and loved playing with all the other dogs!
There is, at present, just 1 toilet and shower but the owner was saying that they may be building more in future as this was just their first year. In saying this, whilst we were there, I only had to wait about 10 minutes for the shower once and this was at peak time (in the morning), and unlike some sites, it was a powerful, hot shower, so that was great too!
The facilities were also really clean. An all-round superb site, we would definitely return and recommend to all of our camping friends!
