Wow this is the best value for money site we have found so far £9 per night for caravan and up to four people, electricity is extra but that cost us £1.84 from Friday at 2.30 until Sunday at 3.30.

The shower is £1.20 per token but it is a unisex shower room lovely and big and very clean and we both had a shower on the one token. There is only one ladies toilet but the men have two urinals and two toilets and then there is another toilet and basin in the shower room. As it is a fishing site as well I suppose more men go than ladies.

The fishing is included in the caravan price and my husband had his first fishing session for 20+ years he caught quite a lot of little fish but we did see some 51b fish caught. It was a lovely and peaceful relaxing adult only sight.

The swans were always about and they had had 4 babies you just had to take your rod in (or your bacon sandwich) and stand out of the way until they went on their way. Lots of ducks and a cuckoo calling early in the morning.

A busy dog friendly pub five minutes walk away although it was so busy both nights we sat outside. The shop in the village is being refurbished at the moment and so it is closed but should open shortly. But the site warden will give you a list of shopping she will deliver to you and you can order papers etc. She is very friendly and helpful and I am sure she would not mind me saying 'slightly nutty!'.

The recycling facilities are amazing we have not seen anything like it before on any of the sites we have been too. The only set back is the elsan point is also the waste water point and you have to lift up quite high so don't let it get to full and heavy before you empty.

The site is 13 miles away from Norwich.

Although the change over times are officially 12 o'clock you are quite welcome to arrive early and leave late as long as you inform the warden - its all very laid back. We will definitely be visiting again for fishing weekends as the site is only 1 1/2 hours drive for us.

Hi all well I will highly recommend this caravan site, this is our second visit to Utopia Paradise and we will be going again soon.

It is secluded but there are shops ie, grocers, bakery butchers and a chip shop within 15 mins drive from the park. There is a lovely village pub which does great meals, a local church which is available to attend of which Susan can give you info on, and a lovely place to drive out and about in. Close by there are dinosaurs, oh yes, the dinosaur park is about 30 mins drive away any direction you go you will always find something to do.

Susan is lovely and very friendly lady she is doing everything she can to bring the site up to disability friendly. I am disabled and I have no problems walking on the grass. The shower/toilet area is spotless and is sizeable to dress/undress for showering. You can purchase gas and immediate items for daily needs from susan at the site. There are 2 resident swans there at present and they had 5 eggs in the nest when we were there and I am waiting to hear if they have hatched. We had a squirrel in a box in the tree next to our caravan and it kindly allowed me to take its picture, we also got pics of geese and birds and of course not forgetting the local ducks. One of which has lost its quack somewhere.

The fishing is super as my husband and others had some lovely catches which again I was able to get pics of. We met a new couple while we were there but also was able to meet up with two other couples that camped last July with us at Utopia Paradise and while we were there it was like having a big family around. Our dog Ellie Mae loves it, she makes herself known has well.

The only draw back is that I did not want to leave. I really have nothing negative to say about utopia paradise.

Just got back from our Easter weekend in Norfolk at utopia paradise. This is a very attractive lakeside site in a pretty village within easy reach of Norwich, the broads and the north Norfolk coast, there is a pub that does food just around the corner ( a torch is advisable as the street lighting is non-existent). The toilet-shower block is quite small but is kept spotlessly clean. Sue Jarvis who welcomed us was very friendly and informative. Great value at £9.00 per night the electricity is metered so you pay for what you use. My only slight negative about this site is that we have a small campervan without a water heater and apart from using the kettle, there was nowhere to get hot water to wash up.
