Fantastic site. Neil and Tracy are wonderful hosts and they take real pride in their site which is well maintained. Booking was easy. On arrival we were shown to our site and given fresh eggs. The toilet and shower facilities were clean. The showers are on a wet room basis so it is difficult to keep things dry when drying and changing, a minor gripe.
The fishing is excellent with the fish in very good condition.
I would recommend following the sites advice on getting to the site as the minor roads through the fens can be of third world quality.
We visited the Wolds, Gibraltar Point, Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Tattershall castle, Gumby Hall. We also had a good meal at The Barley Mow.
Would fully recommend

We have just completed a six night stay. This is one of the best sites that we have visited so far.
It is very peaceful and quiet and the toilets and shower facilities are probably the cleanest and best maintained that we have seen. A nice place to stay in pleasant surroundings.
Tracy and Neil made us very welcome and provided information on local eating places, things to do in the area and were always available should we have had any queries or issues (which we didn’t).
They have obviously put as lot of time and effort into making the site what it is and it shows in the attention and service that they give to their business and campers.

We have just returned from our relaxing 4 nights stay. We enjoyed it so much has Tracy and Neil made us so welcome we are returning for a weeks holiday next month.
Looking forward to the peace and quiet of not having children around. It is Adult only. For people that love fishing there is two small fishing lakes.
On site there is nice clean toilet and shower facilities, which are clean very regularly.
There are washer and dryer for you to use if you want. There is eggs for sale. Neil has just made a enclosed dog field.
We can't wait for our next visit. We have given them 10 out of 10

Brilliant from getting there to leaving. Tracy n Neil (owners couldn't do enough for you very helpful). Very clean site. More than enjoyed our weeks stay there (last week).
Peace n quiet by bucketful n all campers on site was amiable, including 1 on site chicken. Deffo be returning next year. Two ponds for fishing enthusiast's, some great carp fishing to be had, besides bream, roach, pike n eels, Rudd, a fair old mix.
It's an adults only venue so no squarking kids running about lol. Plenty of other wildlife.
Also pays a visit toilet/shower block was also very clean n plenty of hot water.

I thought it was a nice touch tracey met me at the gate and shows you to your pitch, I was late turning up and thought it was really nice tracey rang and text me just to make sure I was ok and not lost

An excellent stay at Groobys Pit. This is our second stay and will not be our last.
Toilet block, perfect and clean. A lovely quiet site for adults only.
Only a 5 minute walk to a little picturesque pub which does lovely home cooked food with friendly staff.
There is nothing bad we can say about this site.
The couple that own it are brilliant, very friendly and welcoming. They remembered us from our last visit and even remembered our names, which is such a personal touch.
The facilities they have are 10/10 but please note that this site only has a toilet/shower block and elsan point. They do not have a club, shop etc. Perfect for us!

Excellent stay 15 days of peace. Good fishing. Most of the time good weather. Tracey, neil and the caretakers excellent hosts. Great place to stay. Toilets/showers immaculate.
Thank you for the eggs. Very friendly chickens and ducks, enjoyed watching the wild ones with their babies. If you need a place to get away from it all to chill this is the place to go.
You are in the countryside but only a few short miles from small towns/villages or Skegness. Thank you tracey and neil, hope to see you soon. Joss and roy

Excellent site from booking to leaving.
Spoke to Tracey (one of the owners) to book over the phone and she was so friendly. She met us a few days later at the entrance to show us to our pitch.
The site is so lovely. Being for over 21's it was really peaceful, so much so that we didn't leave the site until day 2.
The toilet/shower block are pristine. I'm quite fussy when it comes to shared facilities, I had no problems with these. Everywhere was spotless. The block was warm with the radio on during the day. The showers were lovely and hot with tons of space to get dry.
There were free range chickens, ducks and geese on site and the ducks came to us for breakfast each morning. It was wonderful.
One day Tracey gifted to us, 2 free range eggs from her own chickens - gorgeous.
I have given the facilities 10/10 because the facilities that were were there, were excellent. However, there is no shop/bar etc on site so if you require this, then this isn't the site for you.
It's secluded, with 2 small lakes and plenty of trees.
We loved this site so much that we booked in again before we left.

Super peaceful site, very friendly owners. Well spaced pitches. Lovely walking countryside & excellent for bird life ( a privilege to observe the pair of barn owls in the box on the side of the water board building ).
Shower block is kept scrupulously clean although the shower heads themselves are a bit dated. A corner shelf in both of the ladies' wetrooms ( only 1 at the moment ) & maybe a grab handle on the wall would be a welcome addition.
That said it is still an incredibly well run site whose owners work very hard to maintain their standards.
