We've just returned back from a wonderful stay at this site! There were 11 of us in total, staying in 2 tents (6 adults - 5 children), and although when booking I asked for a flat surface, we were given two pitches on a slight slope. Not too bad but did notice the slope on some occasions. There are a few flatter pitches, especially for the touring caravans. The site is quite high with a fantastic view of Paignton and a view of Torquay in the distance from a different part of the site. The weather was a bit awful at times, very windy for a few days (not too sure if this was made worse by the fact that we were quite high up?)and our Gazebo blew over onto a caravan next to us, but when the Sun came out, this site was stunning!
The facilities were amazing - The large toilet/ shower block a short distance from us was immaculate and checked and cleaned hourly. The shower cubicle had a separate drying/ changing area which was lovely, and there are a couple of family bath rooms available on a different part of the site.
The indoor pool did get busy but this was only because the weather was so bad, and I would expect that you wouldn't notice this so much if the outdoor pool could be used? The outdoor pool was sufficiently large, with a separate children's pool next to it and plenty of sun loungers. I will agree with another review that the changing rooms inside were tiny, no room to swing a cat, let alone change when you have a child to change/dry too. There were only two 'cubicles' that had a loose fitting curtain, and the showers were FREEZING! We were changing when everyone that was in the pool had to leave as it was 'adult swim only' time, and was a nightmare! If it was warmer, then we would have just gone back to our tent and dried/changed there.
The on site shop was very well stocked with toys, swimming things, camping equipment, fresh food, frozen food, alcohol etc etc, and they had fresh rolls, croissants, pastries & pasties etc delivered daily and kept warm - beautiful!
The prices were very favourable and certainly allowed us not to have to drive to the large Sainsburys - 10mins away- to stock up on essentials.
There is a very large games room with lots of fruit machines, air hockey, table football, computer games and 4 x immaculate pool tables. The games room was open from 10am til late (my two eldest boys were more than happy)
There is also a smallish - but sufficient ball park for the little ones, and this was also clean and well kept. Not open all day though. There is a cafe next to the ball park, which also serves the outdoor pool area.
The upstairs bar/restaurant also has an outdoor terrace, and serves hot food. The food was well priced and varied from Jacket Potatoes, Fish and Chips, Steak, Burgers, Curry, Pasta dishes etc, with a children's option, and everyone in our party had no complaints. They did only take cash though, but the shop did cash back for free there if necessary.
There is a downstairs food bar with seating, that also allows you to order Fish and Chips and Pizza to take away - both made to order and delicious.
The large ball room had entertainment for children and adults alike, with guest entertainment on some nights. Must agree that the resident entertainers were not that great, but this added to the holiday park atmosphere and made us giggle a lot - The kids loved it!
All in all this site as brilliant for adults and children alike, and I would imagine that if coming in the Summer, the vibe would be great. The site is clean, well kept, not hugely expensive and situated close enough for trips to the beach.
We would definitely recommend to friends and would have no hesitation to return - hopefully in warmer weather to benefit from all the site has to offer, and the blue flag beaches that run along the Torbay Coast.
One other thing, if you come to this part of Devon, then Paignton Zoo is a must! It is a very family friendly zoo situated in lots of woodland. There are lots Peacocks roaming around, which the children thought was fantastic.
Brilliantly kept and a great day out! - And 5 mins round the corner from the site!

We had no major problems with this site. All the facilities are good and nicely appointed no tackiness or 'low rent' feeling. Large well stocked shop. Ball room with bar where there is entertainment every night. There is another bar with roof terrace that serves lunch and dinner which were reasonably priced. I would say the main part of the meal was home cooked but veg and mash were frozen. There is also a nice cafe which serves breakfast and then doubles as a takeaway in early eve, later at the weekend, serving very good pizza and fish and chip type meals to eat in or takeaway. Be aware you can pay by card for food but the card machine kept breaking- cash is availabke from reception but there is a fee. There is a free cash machine left out of the site at the local post office.
The indoor pool is a little small and as the outdoor pool does not open until May was very well used and the water seemed to take on a soup like quality by the end of our week. The pool changing rooms are not very big and the showers were often cold.
No complaints about the toilet's and showers. Always hot water and always clean. There were 4 showers in the ladies section and each have a dry section with good hooks and a bench seat, one has a basin too. There are small privacy screens between the other basins and free hairdryer. There is also a bath available in both mens and womens areas which was brilliant for the kids and there is a baby change room. The laundry was good and spacious with folding area - plenty of machines and dryers. £3 per wash and 50p for 10 mins dry the irons and boards free to use.
Large well equipped playground which is locked at dusk. No problems with noise at night or kids hanging around. Small crazy golf at £1.50 didn't use the soft play area not sure if it was open. Recycling facilities available and bin areas spotless. There are kids activities and entertainment every day and night. The house act called 'Jubilee' are not great, bizarrely consisting of 3 old men and a younger girl. They are good musicians but fall down when trying to do sketches and comedy routines which were quite cringe worthy at times.
Overall we were happy and enjoyed our stay.

A holiday park is not normally the type of site we would stay at, but given the time of year there was not really much choice of caravan sites open in the UK.
However, Beverley Park is open all year with all the pitches being hard standing and the facilities heated. On site however, apart from the indoor pool and the gym none of the other entertainment facilities or shops are open.
The site is perched high on a hill and the views over Torbay are simply stunning. The walk to a beach is about 15 minutes but remember it’s all up hill on the way back. You can catch a local bus into the centre of Paignton from around the corner of the site which took about 15 minutes, in the high season the site runs its own bus service. 200 yards from the site is a local chippy which was quite nice.
We enjoyed our stay at Beverly and would return out of season.

A well run site always kept clean with excellent toilet facilities these are also kept immaculately clean. We opted out in paying for the entertainment package which at £14 a week per person which seems to be pricey. Other sites we have visited in the past don't charge to use facilities. There seems to be a few hidden charges from their brochure> I wouldn't like to go in high season I would imagine it gets very full. I would visit again out of season though. For those with motor homes travelling about the area is ok on the buses. There is also a mini bus that runs from the site into Paignton I don't know the cost. Getting about on foot is ok if you like steep hills there is a lovely one from the camp site down to Goodrington. If you visit the area Do take a ride on the Steam train from Paignton to Kingswear a bit of nostalgia for you.

Just returned from Beverley park what a lovely place. Toilets and showers were kept beautifully clean at all times, swimming pool and all facilities well kept staff bend over backwards to help you. We were only there for the weekend but weather was lovely and the campsite couldn't have been better. Pitches were on a slight slope but we managed.Large pitches though with plenty of room. Were both sad to leave, but will definitely return next year, not the cheapest of sites, but well worth the extra. Got nothing but praise for all the staff.Keep up the good work.

This was our fourth visit to Beverly in as many years and the holidays just get better every time. Some pitches have great views as far as Torquay, all facilities are kept well clean and the nightly entertainment during the peak season keeps the children well entertained. The only negative I have experienced in the past is that if you pitch up close to the kids play area it can stay fairly noisy till late at night attracting groups of teenagers. The toilet and shower facilities are kept clean at all times and you are never far away from a fresh or waste water point. The closest beach from the park is at goodrington and it is well stocked with amenities and has the paignton steam railway behind it, I found the car parking there to be a bit pricey so opted to walk but beware that going is o.K but on the way back it is all up hill.

This was our first visit to Beverley Park, but I am happy to say that we will be looking to book here again.
The park is a well established family run park with excellent facilities.
We were lucky to have a pitch with fantastic views across Torbay. Some of the pitches are sloped so you would be wise to take levelling blocks with you.
The toilet / shower block were very good and cleaned regularly, nice to have the piped music!
There was also an adults only session in the pools from 7pm to 8.30pm which we very much appreciated.
Good location close to Paignton and Torquay, can walk to Goodrington Sands but it is a steep walk back up the hill!

We had a tent pitch. The size of the pitch was large for a standard pitch and the view of the sea was fantastic. The food was reasonably priced and was very well cooked. There are deals on meals which make eating out affordable.
The choice of entertainment venues was good as you could go across to the Ashvale complex if you wanted a change.
The site was very clean and well maintained. Facilities were clean. The outdoor swimming pool was lovely and there were plenty of sunbeds for everyone. It was heated but still cool enough to be refreshing. The indoor pool was a bit small but as the weather was good we didn't need to use it.The shop on site has a wide range of stock and was also reasonably priced and also had various offers to take advantage of.
We are definitely booking again for July and we have found that if you book regularly you are given discounts and free weekends in some cases.

Cant have better things to say about beverly been going back to this site for 5 years twice a year some times 6 sets of tents. The facilities are spotless and staff are real helpful love the terrace bar the view over torqay and paigton are supurb.
Always stay on main park but do go down to ashvale the entertainment is brill don't get me wrong jubilee are great. Only thing to watch are the gulls they are quick and clever.
The shop on site is reasonable but the food in the take away quite expensive for what you get. Walk through ashvale down to goodrington sands is lovely to the quay west pub lovely food but a fair walk up hill home bus service good ask reception which one drops off by camp.

A large site with a friendly welcome. Very large tent pitch. Good quality children's playground. Disappointed that we were situated on a very exposed sloped hill site and we were buffeted with wind from all sides. Beautiful view though!
Requested a pitch next to my parents (with touring van) but ended up in separate fields which made babysitting etc tricky.
Disappointed with the children's entertainment - it consisted of a series of images of children's tv characters set to children's tv theme tunes. I was expecting games, competitions. Any interaction really but there was none.
The indoor pool was nice, but the changing rooms were small - only two cubicles in the ladies one - extremely hard to juggle myself and 3 children (6, 4 and 1).
The roads getting in/out of the site and into town were extremely congested
