Very good site and facilities were up to standard. We arrived in the middle of Winter and even though the only tourer on site we were made to feel welcome by the site management.Even in January the indoor pool sauna and steam room were fully functionable.
The toilet block was well heated and nice large shower cubicles with wash basins enclosed within. On the service pitches great views of the Torbay beaches and easy to get around with bus stops just outside the entrance with public transport to Torquay, Newton Abbot,Paignton and Brixham. You can also get a 'Best of British campsite' discount by showing your loyalty card.

This is a professionally run and well organised camp site that I would like to say that I would come back to time and time again but unfortunately, I’m not sure I can say that. I’ll qualify this shortly but first, I’ll cover the good points.
We were greeted by friendly staff on arrival and shown to our pitch by a lovely chap in a small golf buggy type thing. The pitch was slightly sloping as were most there but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t easily rectify with the front legs of the camper. The pitch was hard standing and in places ‘hard’ was the operative word but again, by pegging slightly to the left or the right, this was easily overcome. The EHU was close by but beware, the trip switches are locked so be careful not to blow any circuits in the middle of the night! Facilities such as drinking water, toilets, showers and an excellent children’s playground were all close by. There is an indoor swimming pool and children’s play area as well. There is also a place to eat and on-site entertainment though we didn’t use any of this. For a good meal, try the Waterside Inn which is about 5 minutes away in the car. The on-site shop was well stocked but did suffer from the usual mark-ups that these places seem to put on their goods. The site is on top of a very steep hill with some stunning views across Torbay which is a wonderful area. So, why wouldn’t I return?
I’ve been spoiled to an extent by the Hobourne way and there is a Hobourne site just down the road from this site. What makes Hobourne better? The floors in the toilets and showers were always muddy. I can live with this in the toilet but when your feet come out of the shower dirtier than when you got in, well there’s a problem. The indoor swimming pool is very small given the size of the site and as this was half-term it was packed. The toilets had no toilet brush in them so visits between cleans often meant some nasty surprises stuck to the pan. Like the showers, the changing rooms had dirty floors and they were very cramped. My wife had terrible troubles trying to get changed with our one year old daughter who doesn’t keep still. I had similar troubles with our 4 year old son who also is a wriggler. The water from the drinking taps has a real bad taste and we only used it for washing up etc. For drinks we used bottled water. Another annoyance was the charge of £1 per hour for kids to use the indoor play area. But the real let down was the reception a request for an extended stay on the day of departure was given. I asked if this was possible because with a folding camper, awning, accoutrements and 2 small children, a 10am departure means a 6am start on dismantling. I was told that this was impossible. In all fairness, we were still there after 10am and no-one bothered us but I would have liked the extra time to be guaranteed. I’m not sure if the water tastes any better down the road at Hobourne but my experience from other Hobourne sites tells me that the kids facilities are all free, the toilets and showers are regularly cleaned, the pools are larger (usually with flumes) and no-one gets near the changing areas with shoes on. Extended stays can be arranged upon payment of a reasonable fee and overall, my experiences there have been better. If this all sounds like petty whining then fair enough, but when you pay top whack prices you do expect top whack services and whilst Hobourne seem to manage this, unfortunately Beverley Park didn’t quite step up to the same mark on this occasion and I just know, that not that far away, there is something better.

We chose this site over others due to the website, knowledge of family and friends and reviews on this site.
The site itself is clean, well presented and offers for some great views over the bay towards Torquay. We were lucky and could see the sea from our pitch, others further back would not have such an advantage. Our 8 and 5 year old girls enjoyed the park and it's relative road safety so they could ride their bikes and run to the park (particularly the elder one) with ease, although the staff in their golf buggies whizzing between the caravans caused me some concern at times as any child riding their bike would not hear them and would meet a messy end if they collided which in my view would not be the child's fault.
The indoor pool is small but clean and well presented; the permanent lifeguarding is great
I used the fitness room three times and thought it more than adequate for a small facility, the reception staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and all help was given with a genuine smile. The evening entertainment is good fun and very much in keeping with a holiday camp of this ilk.
Overall, a good holiday and we would happily consider coming back.

Why 5 stars
Probably because it is a 5 star facility, toilets and showers are superb ,swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jaccuzi clean and tidy.
My wife and daughter loved the outdoor pool even though weather wasn't that great ,especially when a load of ducks landed in the pool and had a swim with them .
Entertainment (not usually my bag) was fantastic on the Saturday night, friendly quick service behind the bar .
All nearly never happened ,just as we were getting the tent up ,chap pulled up ,enquired if the 2 little lasa dogs were ours ,then informed us pets were not allowed ,thankfully told us to put them into kennels following morning. Always read the small print .
Managed to get a pitch for the August bank holiday . People on site were extremely friendly and seemed to have been going for years or even generations

We are currently coming to the end of a very enjoyable week at this very good site ( moving elsewhere as caravan is booked for next week ).
The static caravan we are in is nearly new ( Celebration Gold )and spotless clean with excellent views over Torbay, and the park itself is extremely well maintained and clean with excellent garden shrubbery areas throughout. I wouldn't however have been quite so satisfied with some of the other caravans for hire and their location a the the rear of the park.
My 11 year old twin daughters loved both the pools especially the outdoor one although this is somewhat spoiled by the number of flying rats ( seagulls )constantly swooping around the pool area and even drinking from the pool. Perhaps hawks to disperse these pests could be considered.
The kids however loved the duck family ( mother and 4 baby ducks ) who also came to swim in the pool and thought that this was ' brilliant '.
The indoor pool and changing rooms were however rather small for the size of the park given that the outdoor pool users also had access to these at the same time.
There is a very good shop on site and the prices are surprisingly good with a very good stock and range of choice available.
Toys and games for the children were also very reasonably priced and the activities on the park ( crazy golf , tennis etc ) only incur a very nominal charge which is excellent and very encouraging.
The games room has a wide range of games to keep all ages happy although I think that £1 per game for pool is excessively high ( should be 50p max ) and prohibits younger children from playing as it drains their spending money very quickly.
The only real criticism I have is The Galley Takeaway.
We were unfortunate enough to purchase food from here on the day we arrived ( hadn't had time to shop or explore the area ) and it was absolutely disgusting.
There is a very good chip shop 100yds from the entrance and and an excellent Chinese takeaway ( Jade Palace ) just round the corner at the end of Goodrington Road towards Paignton who must be taking significant revenue from park residents.
Despite the minor niggles this is still a very good site and the staff are all very pleasant and work hard to try and ensure that you enjoy your holiday while you are here.
We're off to our favourite place for the next week ( Holgates ) but hope to return here next year for a bit longer and enjoy the whole Riviera area and with a bit of luck some decent food on site.

Our family ( Mum, Dad and twins aged 5 ) were very impressed with this site!
We stayed for a week in Field 1 on an EHU pitch which was easily big enough for our tent ( 7.5 x 4.5m ) and with enough space for our car and trailer.
The pitch was on a slight slope but caused no probs even for inexperienced campers like ourselves.
The site itself was excellent. Heated outdoor pool, heated indoor pool with adult use of steam room, sauna and hot tub. The twins loved the outside pool and for most of the time the lifeguards were on duty. The site also has crazy golf, a well equipped play park and a cafe and club, all free of charge.
The toilet / shower block near our pitch was clean with plenty of hot water for showers. Maybe because we were out of season but we didn't have to queue.
All in all the site was clean and tidy and well laid out and we will be going back.

A well recommended campsite.
This is a modern holiday camp with a full range of facilities, yet still retains a personal touch with friendly staff and very clean, tidy facilities and surroundings.
On site facilities include a well stocked shop, with items priced fairly. There is a good takeaway / restaurant, along with a bar and entertainments complex with a wide range of activities (the pitch fee also includes access to the neighbouring park's entertainment centre). Great outdoor swimming pool, with indoor pool, sauna, steam room and gym.
Toilet/shower blocks are clean, well maintained, and even have a bit of music!
Some pitches are more level than others, some on the camp's second field do slope a little and are probably better suited to caravans / motorhomes. We found the third field to be well sheltered, with good sea view and level pitches. This field does back out onto the road, but out pitch was right next to the road and we didn't find it a problem.
The site is a bit of a walk into Paignton, although only a 5 minute drive, with good bus links also. The site is also handily placed for exploring other attractions and towns in South Devon, such as Torbay, Dartmouth and Bigbury. On another note, if you plan to visit any local attractions whilst in the area, visit the site reception, who can offer discount vouchers for some of the local attractions.
Some correspondents have noted 'seagull behaviour' on site, this is worth noting as the local seagulls are quite brave, one flew onto our barbeque and stole a sausage when we turned our back on it momentarily!
On another note, there was a fire on site, with some of the bins catching fire. Fortunately well stocked fire extinguishers brought the fire under control, and within a day of the fire, most of the damage had been fixed, a credit to the site's organisation.
This is a site that is very proud of it's past (even selling a small booklet about its history), yet is keen not to rest on it's laurels.
Would definitely recommend!

Brilliant! 10/10 in all areas!
We only stayed at this site for 2 nights and to be honest it wasn't long enough with everything to do on site.
Entertainment was fairly good.Maybe a little old fashioned at evenings but we are in our mid 20's, good clean family fun is the best way to describe it.
Toilet and wash area was the best and the cleanest that I have ever used.
Nice pool, sauna, gym, steam room, hot tub.
We were also a fan of the sun deck bar with beautiful views over the sea.
Highly recommended

WOW !
After being shown to our pitch by a friendly chap in a golf buggy you could see why this is a very popular site. It is very well mantained with great facilities and fantastic views over Torbay.
It has nightly entertainment from 7pm with the wonderful Jubilee team involving children and adults alike. But you will have to get there early for a seat as the showbar fills up fast in peak season. The site has indoor and outdoor pools which were a big winner with my little girl. The toilet and shower blocks are of a high standard but towards peak times an extra shower block would be welcome. I would also question why someone was allowed on the site at half six in the morning to pitch a tent making as much noise as possible. However our fantastic holiday was not spoilt and will be returning soon. All in all a great site in a great location with great staff !

Have just returned from a weeks holiday camping at Beverley Park. Having camped for many years I can easily say this is the best site we have ever stayed at.
Toilet and showers were excellent, clean with music piped through.
Pool, indoor and out was fully staffed with lifeguards which allows you to relax a little bit whilst the children swim and play.
Shop and takeway/cafe were good value and staff were always pleasant and helpful.
Entertainment would be my only small critisim the staff were great for children but a little outdated for us adults. Bar prices were a little bid dearer than outside the site, but we have found this to be the case on most sites we have been on where entertainment is included. The clubhouse and bar was fantastic larger than usual.
The site is situated at the top of a steep hill but this lends itself to beautiful views, ours took in Torquay harbour and sailing boats out at sea.
There is lots to see and do, visited many of the beaches plus Dartmouth, Brixham, Paignton and Torquay all within 20mins drive.
Seagulls were a problem you could not leave any food out (we lost a couple of bread rolls to them when eating outside.) They even took chicken off of a hot bbq. I was not a big deal to us and would not put us off staying there again.
Next year we are planning on spending two weeks as we did not want to come home from what has been a fantastic holiday.
