Just returned from 4 nights at this site and was very impressed and we will return again

On arrival we were shown to our pitch by the friendly owners. The couple are always around and want to ensure you have a good stay but are not intrusive

The site is small 40 pitches but is immaculately maintained. On our visit there were a mixture of tents and caravans on the site.

The shower/toilet and washing facility are brand new and are kept spotlessly clean. There is no shop on site but there are local shops within a couple of miles to get essentials. I think the owner does freezer blocks for campers but we did not need this service but saw him giving them to another camper.

The site is off a country lane and is very quiet. You get some noise through the day from the road and railway line but none at night.

The site is adult only and on our visit attracted like minded campers who were their for a peaceful nights sleep.

There is little to do on the site in the way of activities but there are lots of walks around the site, we did two while their.

The site is close to Boston which is a great place to visit and within 15 miles of the major holiday beaches at Skegy etc

Overall an impressive small site and we will return for another visit

Spent 2 nights here, a wonderful camp site. We were made welcome by the owners. The facilities are immaculate. The site is adults only so nice and quiet. This is the reason for the low child friendly mark

Pub 'Butcher Arms' in easy walking distance. No food but a good atmosphere. Other pubs in easy driving distance. A strange fish shop 2 miles away. Form the outside a large wooden shed, inside immaculate and very good food.

Easy access to the Fens, Boston, Skegness.

Can not rate this site highly enough.

Will return again when in the area

This was our first camping break and would highly recommend this site. Warm and friendly welcome by the owner on arrival and followed up with a visit to our pitch where he took us through the site etiquette. Very neat and tidy site.

Toilet block with spotless with really good hot showers. Very peaceful location with quiet roads around, ideal for dog walking. Nearest shop is 5-7 minute drive to Old Leake village but it has everything you need.

What a real gem of a site. Absolutely 5 star! This site has everything you could want. Very friendly owners who are always there to greet everyone when they arrive! All the information you need for walks, cycling, shops, restaurants and local areas etc.

Peace and tranquillity, beautifully landscaped with newly planted and mature trees between very spacious pitches (giving a feeling of even more space). Facilities which are by far the most luxurious we have ever come across (and we have stayed on many, many sites over the last 2 years)

The owners Steve and Margaret have thought of absolutely everything down to the last detail. The shower / toilet block has piped radio playing, automatic air fresheners, very good hairdryers, lovely showers and toilets, 2 washing up sinks, small flower arrangements and hand wash soap by every sink! Still looks brand new and very very clean. Margaret cleans at least once a day and empties rubbish daily.

Site is in a very tranquil setting with only a few houses near and a couple of very quiet horses in a nearby field. The site, and surrounding area is wonderful for nature enthusiasts and bird watchers alike. I put up 2 bird feeders and within hours had 7 species of birds on them, and noted 28 species of birds in and around the site, including Buzzards and Marsh Harriers!

Also there is a local supermarket which sells everything, and Boston town centre is only 8 miles away, which has large supermarkets as well as all the shops you could want! We ended up staying 8 nights (into the May bank holiday) and did not want to leave. Cant wait to go back for more peace, quiet and tranquillity!

Spent the August B/H weekend here and what a peaceful site it is (what we were after), everything kept spotlessly clean by the hard working owners, the facility block should win awards, great little (friendly) pub a mile down the lane, good area for cycling and to use as a base for visiting the surrounding areas, the other people I spoke to on-site (usually when washing up) were all very impressed with the site, we will definitely be booking again.

Fantastic site, stayed for 4 peaceful nights. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the quiet with no children about. The toilet/shower block very clean with the added touch of the radio playing whilst washing up/showering or visiting the toilet was very pleasant. Surrounding villages made for a gently bike ride. Very good local fish and chip shop. Will definitely go back to stay on this site again.

I have just returned from a week at Long Acres; what a great site!

This adult only site is situated in a lovely rural location in the Lincolnshire Fens between Boston and Skegness. The pitches are all gravel hard standing with landscaping between and most pitches are separated by trees and grass so you get a real feeling of space between pitches. The site is in its first full season and the facilities are first class. One of the best sites I have stayed on.

I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be going again. Steve and Margaret deserve to succeed with all the effort they are putting into the site.

Where to start? The site is clean and well presented. The greeting of the owners makes you feel welcome straight away.We have a Tent that is 5.5x5.5x2 meters and the pitch was more than adequate,we had plenty of room. The onsite facilities are spotless and the idea of an indoor washing up area is splendid!

There is a shop in the nearby village of Sibsey that stocks most stuff you could need on your hols, bread / milk / booze / food etc.

We had a lovely day out on the Saturday taking in Gibralter point at Skegness wich is a lovely nature reserve with clean empty beaches, then we called at Wainfleet All Saints and had some grub in the Batemans Brewewry on site Pub. If you like real ales this would be heaven. Also in the village is the 15th century Magdalene college building , well worth a look. We also called in at the Trader Windmill just outside Sibsey 10 mins from the site.

This was our 1st time camping with a tent and we had a smashing time.We will definitely go back and can heartily recommend this Adult only site.

We stayed at Longacres campsite for one night to try out our new tent. What a perfect place! On arrival the owners were very friendly and helpful. We were shown to our two pitches which where excellent and nice sized, 20 seconds from the immaculate toilet and shower block which had music playing and constantly smelled lovely and clean. Everything still looked lovely and new as the site had only been open 18 months. The owner borrowed us an old bbq to stand the disposables on which was very nice of him. The site was very quite with just the sounds of a nearby horse and birds in the trees. We had a ride to Skegness which was approx 20-25mins away. Nothing much close by but everything within driving distance. We will definitely be returning to this campsite. I may have been talked into camping but I will never rough it and campsites like Longacres make it possible to do a bit of posh camping :)Thank you!

This site was exactly what we wanted, no kids, good shower block and a well maintained site. The owners were very helpful with information about the area and let us know about useful things like where to put or recycling and where the fire hydrants where.

Shame the local pub did not do food, but we visited the Admiral Nelson 3 mile away and had an excellent meal there.

There is no shop on site which was not a problem, we used Asda in Boston for milk etc.

Felt very safe on the site, gates locked between 11pm and 8am and the sight of Max the dog should scare off any strangers.

Loved our stay there, only 5 nights, but I think we would go again.
