This was our first visit to this fantastic site but it will not be the last, in fact my Daughter & her Husband are going back this weekend.
The Owners are really friendly and helpful and we were made to feel more like Friends than paying Guests.
The facilities were immaculate on every visit whatever time of day or night.
We did not frequent any of the local Pubs or restaurants so cannot comment on them.
If you want a really relaxing break then this is the place to go, you will not be disappointed.
Why oh Why are they all not like this one !

Top draw site. First class facilities, well managed. The owners are a hard working couple and are very friendly. Best site we have stayed on. The area is quiet, and the nearest pub about 15 mins walk. Good beer and 50 pence a pint cheaper than our local so we were well happy. Skegness 25mins in the car. Surrounding area is very flat, ideal for cycling. We ate out twice at a pub named The Admiral [about 5 miles from the site] good grub and very reasonable prices. The site is a good base as there is not a lot in the immediate vicinity, boston is worth a visit and skeggy is much improved since we were there last. We enjoyed our stay and will go there again. Steve and Margaret deserve to succeed with the effort they are putting into the site.

What a fantastic site!
My wife and I spent the Easter weekend staying at Longacres, and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was fantastic.
Situated in a lovely rural location, nestled between Boston and Skegness, the site is brand new with the most fantastic facilities. (The only site I've been to where you have music played piped into the toilet block!)
We were welcomed by Steve and Margaret (the owners) like old friends when we arrived and were looked after very well. The pitches are all gravel hard standing with landscaping between. Most pitches are separated by trees or grass so you don't feel crowded at all.
I strongly recommend visiting this gem as soon as possible before word gets around and you find it's fully booked!

Just got back from this site what a wonderful site it is if you want peace and quiet then this is the one for you. It is absolutely spotless toilet and shower blocks second to none owners very friendly and welcoming also max as well the dog. A site to truly recommend for adults only. The washing up area inside which you don't find at many sites also spotless. Will most certainly be going back here

We have just returned from a week at long acres,
If you are looking for peace + quiet this is the place to be, very well presented site clean + tidy. The owners steve +margaret have worked hard on this site, pitches all hardstanding with plenty of room between neighbours, separated by trees some of them are apple. Showerblock brand new all mod cons. If you turn right at site entrance and walk towards railway line then cross road and go over bridge there is a good dog walk at side of canal (hobhole drain). Go left pub 1 mile walk. Local shop in old leake about 10min drive sell everything. We will return enjoyed our stay.

Have just spent 4 extremely pleasant nights at this very new and inviting site. We were welcomed by Max (and owner) who is a lovely dog who apparently is one for the ladies! The site is clean and has a lovely shower block, all new build. Showers are good (and nice liquid soap to wash hands with - good touch), washing up area gladly inside rather than some sites where you are under cover but still in the cold! Pitches are of good size but thankfully we only took our 4 berth tent as we felt our 6 berth would probably have been difficult to pitch, due to size. Met some lovely people from Derbyshire (only 4 others on site at this time) and hope to meet them again here sometime. Surrounding area completely flat but lets face it we were in the Fens! No pubs in immediate vicinity but for us that wasn't a problem. Lots to see and do though if that's what you are looking for. So, anyone looking for a relaxing, chilled time camping/caravanning then this site definitely gets a 10/10

Just returned from a weekend on this lovely new site, excellent facilities(as stated above)and a rural location along with the friendly and helpful owners made this an enjoyable visit. Its obvious a lot of time and money has been spent and it wont take long once the word has spread to give them the success they so richly deserve.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the start of August, the site had only been open a week and we had the entire place to ourselves. The owners have put a lot of work into the site and the facilities are excellent.
The facilities block has two sinks for dish washing, the gents has two showers, two toilets, three sinks, and two urinals, and for the ladies two showers, three toilets and four sinks. The showers were very good, proper rain head, plenty of pressure and hot. The disabled toilet and shower is very impressive too.
All pitches are have a hard standing area and a grass pitch, plus all have EHU. The site is sheltered by hedges on either side and is lit at night, not too much to keep you awake in the tent though.
I'd thoroughly recommend this site to anyone who is looking for a quiet relaxing time.
