Small site with 10 pitches, 5 of which have hook up. Communal toilet and a small shower unit (both spotless). Mark and Steve your hosts are 2 genuine, warm and friendly guys who go out of their way to make sure your stay is a good one, but they are not in your face by any means.
Singletons garden centre / nurseries across the road has a cracking restaurant which is unfortunately only open evenings on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday (but well worth a visit.
We were most fortunate to be only 1 of 2 couples on the site when we stayed and we loved the peace and quiet (although the Barn Owl screeching through the site at about 3am did frighten the bejesus out of us both).
Can I recommend this place. Yeah of course. Small, Peaceful and friendly with stunning scenery, and surrounded by horses in the joining fields. For us. Just perfect

A lovely site, clean facilities, 1 toilet, 1 shower unit (loads of hot water) These are to be upgraded to more. 8 pitches all virtually flat.
Owners very nice people. A very quiet and peaceful site.
There is a nice restaurant near by and a garden centre a bit further down the road. A five minute drive will get you to the shops where there is a Coop and many other shops
We will definitely be returning to this one.

We have just returned from a great stay at this site, Steve and Mark super hosts very pleasant helpful went out of there way to make you welcome and our 2 dogs. Excellent views.About 2 miles from Egremont where there is a co op lots of various takeaways ie Indian Chinese chippies etc or you have a big Morrisons in Whitehaven approx 7 miles away easy to find.
Appears to be plenty of pubs in the area most of which do food.
The site itself is fairly flat, there is one portaloo and an excellent shower.
The owners keep horses and there are sheep in adjoining fields which may not be to everybodies taste we like animals so it did,nt worry us.
We can thoroughly recommend this site and look forward to going back next year

This is a basic site for adults only. There are only five pitches, all of which are on level grass covered ground. The shower & toilet are basic but perfectly adequate. This is the site for experienced adult campers looking for some peace.
A ten minute walk takes you down to Nethertown Railway Station where trains running alongside the coast only stop if requested to do so. Egremont, complete with ancient ruined castle, is just a few minutes away on country roads and is an ideal shopping centre. It has takeaway food and a well stocked Co-op. In the other direction are two pubs which offer first class meals, the White Mare and the Royal Oak both in Beckermet. On Wednesdays & Thursdays the White Mare offer two course meals for £10, on Fridays it is steak night and it’s all first class food.
This campsite, though basic, is the perfect place for serious campers looking for a bit of peace.

My partner and I just spent 5 days at Rosegarth Farm. It is their 1st year and they are trying very hard to give a good service. The views are spectacular and the site is immaculate. There are facilities for fresh water and waste disposal. There is a basic but clean toilet and shower. If you want a quiet rural site less than a ten minute stroll from the sea and within easy driving distance of the Lake District then this is the place to be.
