Nice campsite, nice large pitches, toilets and showers excellent. The dog excercise area could have been larger. Wouldn't go to The Masons pub, we had 1 lasagne and 1 fish & chips, 2 drinks each and it came to £35 ! (didn't go back there) We would certainly visit Redlands again.

Nice site. Vans around the perimeter so the kids had a ball. Showers were very clean. Shop well stocked. Dog walk could have been a bit bigger. Make sure you follow the directions on how to get there very carefully as one way if really bad (the one which we took)! Quite remote no pubs or shops to walk to. Little Haven is close though with a fab beach which you can walk to Broad Haven on. The pub is fantastic and the food is amazing,be there early or book cos it gets very busy. Great holiday.

We spent 2 weeks here. Last in July and first in August and it is an immaculately kept site in a beautiful part of Wales. The pitches for a touring caravan are a decent size. The views at this time of year from this site are lovely and if you are at the top end of the field nearer the toilet block you will have 'sea view'. We were at the bottom end of the field and after the recent high rainfall it was damp under foot in the awning as it slopes down from the toilet block area. The site has a camping field for tents which looked well spaced out, and two areas for tourers, each separated by a line of trees. The two touring fields had very large areas for the kids to play in. The site is dog friendly. There were 2 showers in the male block with an extra shower attached to the washing up area. (Same for female) Amazingly for the time of year and considering the size of the block, there was hardly ever a wait for a shower. The beaches in the area are really good, very much like Cornwall but a bit more relaxed. Broad Haven has plenty of parking. The water is shallow which seems to be typical of the area, Little Haven can get very busy and appears to be popular with boating. The pubs here are very good. Our favourite beach was Marlowe sands, a bit of a walk from the parking area but absolutely worth it. There were many others withing a short drive that we did not get round to visiting. 25 miles from Tenby and Saundersfoot. Pembroke castle worth a visit which is not far. Lovely fish and chips there (think it was called Rowlies). Main town for the site is Haverford West which is 7 miles away and has everything you could need. Personally having kids (with attitude) aged 13 and 10 I probably would not come back. The site is isolated and there was nothing for them in the immediate vicinty. For people with younger families/no kids I would definitely recommend it as it is very relaxed. There are several people who come back to this site year after year.

We only stayed at Redlands 4 days, very clean facilities. We visited alot of local places broad haven , little haven on coast right round to fishguard , some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen . Found it very hard to get a meal when we arrived as it was late sunday afternoon, found some great pub in Johnston not too far away called the Vine fabulous food.

A great site really friendly owners who went out of their way to help. Have stopped on other sites in the area, and this is the one that I would come back to most of all.
The site doesn't have a bar but has the best of both worlds as you can use the one on the next site, so it stays peaceful Would I stay again? A definate Yes best site in area. If you haven't been to the area before it is fantastic, after going to Pembrokeshire, you'll never got to Devon, or Cornwall again

Disappointed with this site in the brief time we were here. Felt sadly that whilst the facilities were very clean and tidy it was not welcoming to young families. Dog walking facilities limited Area is beautiful and this site is close to the beaches but there are others which are within walking distance of the beach which we much preferred.

We stayed here for 2 weeks during the Summer and had a fantastic holiday. The campsite is kept very well by the owners. The facilities are spotlessly clean, plenty of free hot water for showers and washing up etc. The pitches are spacious with plenty of room for your car AND barbeque, kids to play etc. As the last postee said, there ARE lots of reminders about keeping the place clean etc, but it works. We couldn't fault the site at all. The area itself is absolutely beautiful. We had never been to Wales, but we will certainly return. Fabulous beaches.all types, from beaches with 'facilities' and surf school and practically deserted little coves with rockpools. We were amazed at the water.so clear you could see your feet even a few feet in! Our kids loved the rockpools which could be found on nearly every beach. Big 24hr Tesco's was 5 miles away in Haverfordwest.very handy. Campsite has a small shop, sold bits for breakfast and sweets, drinks and otheritems. Nearest village is Little Haven (1 1/2 miles).has small beach, 2 pubs, takeaway pizza and a gift shop or two. If weather is not brilliant, would recommend booking table at The Castle pub. There are tables outside, but if weather dodgy, the few tables inside get full very quickly. All in all, we had a great time. Loads of castles, places to visit. We will be returning and would definitely stay at redlands!

A lovely site that lives up to all the previous reviews on this website. The owners have obviously put alot of thought into how the site is organised and work hard to maintain high standards.
The only downside is that if you fancy ditching the car for a day or two, there are no public footpaths in the vicinity, which means walking down some pretty bendy roads (no fun with a buggy).
If you pick this site make sure you go to go to the beach at Marloes when the tide is out (it mostly disappears when the tide is in), this is quite possibly one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever been to!

May 2005 This is an absolutely superb site. we spent half term there and loved the place. The friendly owners run a really tidy, well maintained site, that is a 10 minute drive from the nearest supermarket for your provisions, has superb views, and is near some great eateries. If you don't want to cook or travel, there is a caravan site right next door that has a small bar/restaurant, where we had an enjoyable meal and drink with our family who live in the area.
There was a mention in another review about rules, but I think it would be fairer to say 'reminders'. I think that the friendly signs are only there to stop the lazy oafs amongst us from messing up and spoiling a place that has had much time and care put in to it by the owners.
Definitely one of the best sites we've stayed at, and highly recommend it. Just don't count on the Welsh weather being as good!!!
