 We have just returned from a 3 week camping holiday touring the west coast of Scotland. The setting is beautiful, located on the beach, and a short walk through an estate to the local village. The whole place was immaculately clean from the pitches to the toilet and shower block. The site was busy yet did not feel overcrowded due to the pitches being split into small bays of 5 or so. The owners were very friendly and helpful with useful local advise and came to the rescue when we had a problem with our trailer.
If you want a site by the beach, with excellent facilities run by people that care then we would recommend this site. We will defiantly be back for 2 week next year.

Carradale is a beautiful place with stunning views. The caravan site is definatley one of the nicest we've been to with fantastic facilites, there is no games room or swimming pool, and it is lovely and quiet. The pitches are well spaced out and private, some are surrounded on three sides by low bushes! The beach is literally metres away from the site and there are lots of wild rabbits and birds all over! Pony rides are given by the local stables and kite nights are held down at the beach! Everybody is very friendly and helpful and it is a brilliant place to spend your holidays. It is however very remote!
