1 night stop over as booked into Truma the following day.
Did not arrive till 20:00, but the owner was waiting to greet us.
He was very helpful and the site was clean.
Would stay again.

Very spacious hard standing pitches with good electric. Owners were very friendly and allowed us to pick our spot.
Campsite itself is very quiet and very well maintained. There is the hum of road noise from the A50 but also means it is handy to travel to various attractions.
Site is rural and you do really need a car. Although we had a motorhome we towed a car on an A Frame.
The toilets and showers were immaculate and the showers cost £1 for 5 minutes which was an adequate amount of time.
All in all we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Lovely quiet site, fairly level hardstanding EHU.
Ladies small shower/toilet block immaculate, men's clean just old style. Washing up area in shed ideal but we didn't use.
Great price. Ideal location for us will definitely use again.
Not ideal for children as no playground but there is an area where some children played.
Free WiFi if close enough, we weren't.
Friendly owners

Excellent quiet site with good sized hardstanding pitches with electric.
Good clean shower for £1, which is very reasonable considering the pitch was only £20 per night. Site kept very clean.
2 water taps, grey waste drain, chemical toilet emptying point and washing up facilities.
Clean toilets. Would definitely stay again.

A lovely little campsite. Basic facilities nothing fancy but clean.
The hard standing areas were convenient and kept the dirt out of the van.
Some distant noise from the busy A50 road.
Good value for money at £20 per night with EHU.
We will definitely return so that’s best recommendation I can give.

WE chose this campsite because it was so close to the A5 0and Dove Valley Business Park as we needed to go there to have an Air Conditioning unit fitted in our Motorhome.
We travelled from the North and we wanted to be close to Truma UK the next day for our early morning appointment.
The peaceful campsite was very spacious set in lovely countryside.
The owner was so very helpful lending us an electric cable for the night.
The facilities were excellent and the showers and toilets spotless and warm.

My wife and I revisited this site and a gap of several years. We really loved the location, less than 30 mins form home, and had some lovely rides out on our bicycles.
The country lanes are perfect for cycling as they are quiet and relatively flat.
Hatton is approx. 3 miles from the site, so you could easily walk, ride or drive if you need supplies.
The site itself has been updated since our review and there is now a newly built ladies shower and toilet block and the original is the gents.
The toilets and showers are fine and were kept clean the whole time we were on site. Showers are £1 for 5 mins, which is fine as the pitches, even with electric are only £14 per night.
The site also has a pot wash cabin so no cramped washing in your caravan or motorhome and its protected from the elements.
The site was immaculate and all the pitches are a good size with all the facilities you could need.
We will be returning to this site and we won't be leaving it years before we do. We cannot recommend this site enough
