Great little site. Very friendly. Cleanest facilities I've ever experienced.
Loved the wheelbarrows to move equipment to the camping area.
Pub almost opposite as well plus loads of walking from the door.
Nice showers, level pitches, microwave, fridge and freezer that could be used if required. Washing up area. Electric hook up next to clearly defined pitch

We booked on the day and the owner Gill was very helpful and friendly in finding us a pitch.
The site is lovely with beautiful views all round, wildflower areas and walks direct from site.
The Buck Inn is a minute or two stroll away, also friendly with good food and ales.
The site facilities are very clean, with useful extras such as fridge, freezer, kettle and microwave.
The only point to note is it's quite a walk from the campsite to the farmyard across the road with the toilet and washing up facilities.
I have already recommended it to friends and look forward to coming back and staying for longer to fully appreciate the lovely site and location

Great site, flat, well-maintained, good facilities.
Free help-yourself hot drinks and good information room.
Very quiet area with lots of beautiful walks nearby. Some pitches have an electric hook-up.
Lovely views from all areas.
There's a pub and a useful shop close by.
Easy to find, good contact with the owner before and during our visit.

This is an excellent site with very friendly hosts (Gillian and Gary). Communication with the site is only available via email when on site as there is no mobile phone signal in the area.
If you are considering staying at this site and have a twin axle caravan you may find difficulty in accessing the site.
The owners were extremely helpful as we couldn't access the site due to our low level and length of our caravan (7. 8 Mtr). Gary arrived with his tractor and managed to get us on the site. Gillian and Gary were also there to assist us when we left. We couldn't have wished for more attention. There is an excellent Wi-Fi signal (Gillian will give you the pass code) and also excellent satellite signal.
Plenty of walks in the area with different levels of difficulty. Views from the site are also excellent.
Visited the small local shop which is usually only open in the mornings and only takes cash. Also visited the local inn for a meal. Service was rather slow but the food was OK (Usual pub menu). Prices not to high (Meal for 2 with drinks was £28). Travelling to the site is through narrow roads so be careful of the numerous cyclists in the area during weekend and bank holidays.
Overall we intend to return but this time we will book Gary's tractor.

The setting for this site is stunning - with views of the hills and the sound of the river.
The facilities were good and very regularly cleaned and maintained.
Above all the hosts were really friendly and helpful and greeted all arrivals personally and had reserved two pitches together for our group as requested.

We arrived at Buckden campsite after a long walk and thought it was perfect!
It's a small campsite that makes an effort to keep noise to only the bleating of sheep.
The staff were very friendly, facilities clean, and surroundings picturesque,
I'd highly recommend it.

We were met by the warden on arrival. He checked our details and gave us options of pitch and even helped us take our trailer to the pitch.
This is a lovely site with the option of three toilets and two showers. One shower which is contained in a pod has a hairdryer and all have hand moisturiser and sss for the midges!
There is also access to a fridge and freezer and microwave. A kettle is also provided with complimentary drinks. It's quite a small site and cars are left at the top and wheel barrows provided to get your gear to your pitch.
The facilities are kept very clean and it's very relaxed. It's dog friendly and an ideal location for getting out and about in the dales. Gill, the owner came to say hello in the evening and was a regular face.
The views are stunning. There is a nice pub across from the site and village shop.
