Away from the hustle and bustle Eastgate caravan park is such a beautiful, tranquil place, amazing views and extremely clean and tidy.
Lovely fishing lake stocked with some large fish.
The owners leave you to relax and enjoy but are on hand if you do require any information.

A wonderful site, well maintained, with clean & adequate facilities, and for a very reasonable price.
In a lovely location, that is ideal as a base for travel to East Yorkshire Coastal area, & the moors.
Child & dog friendly, there is a playground for children
Fishing available, with large well stocked lake nearby
Sue & Dave are the perfect hosts, friendly, and always willing to help if needed

Lovely clean and spacious site. Warm and friendly couple that run it. Always there if you need anything.
Lovely site for chilling and relaxation. Got little play area for small children. Onsite toilets and shower room.
12 miles from Scarborough and 10 miles from Filey. Fresh eggs on a morning. Lovely local village shop and bakery. Supermarket just down the road. Perfect location.
Another Highlight is seeing a proper steam engine go by on a Thursday. Just love it here.

Been to this site 5 yrs ago with our grandchildren, still 10/10
You can not meet a lovelier owner than sue, nothing too much trouble
New road put in on site and down to pond, didn't fish this time but walked dog round, plenty of fish being caught
Will return much sooner

A nice little site in a quiet location and good value for money. The field is well-kept and level, with individual taps for each pitch.
The toilet and shower are unisex, with just one shower and two toilets plus additional sinks.
There is also a nice play area for children.

Fantastic little site that is well placed for both the North Yorkshire moors and coast.
The owner Sue was welcoming and helpful, and even took time to hide Easter eggs around the site for the children.
The facilities are of a good standard for a small site and remained clean throughout our stay.
If you intend visiting this area of Yorkshire and the coastal towns if Whitby and Filey etc, you will not go far wrong staying at Eastgate caravan site, we will return without doubt.

What a find by my daughter, site is great owners very friendly kids can play safely as only traffic is to the site.
Pond is far enough away from young children but close enough if you are into fishing without taking car.
Will certainly visit again as still plenty of area to explore

This is an excellent site. It has a water tap next to each caravan, also has a large selection of DVD's that you can use. Great for young children with a playground.
There are goats, sheep and a Shetland Pony. Someone did write in the review how refreshing it was to see someone who genuinely cared whether you were enjoying your stay. I would agree this.
We did partly go to this site as I don't think I have ever seen so many good reviews for a campsite.
It is also extremely good value for money.
