After reading the reviews of this site, and considering this is a Camping and Caravanning Certified site we were looking forward to a short break with our granddaughter.
The signage to the site is terrible…. We went past the turning twice before parking and then walking along Broughton Lane to find the site on foot, and then having to reverse the caravan back to the entrance.
It definitely needs a sign on Broughton Lane…not on the gate, up the driveway to the entrance to the site where it is now. The site itself is beautiful, open fields with sheep, goats and pond with ducks and geese. All very laid back.
It would be vast improvement if the toilets could be updated. They were situated in a dilapidated shed; there were cobwebs everywhere and it was very dark.
To be honest it would be better to abandon the toilets and advertise that there were no facilities available as these are well below standard expected at a C and C certified site, especially following the covid epidemic. Thankfully we had our own toilets….
The EHU is only 6 amps so you have to be careful about what you use together…we tripped it a few times!
Altogether a great shame as the outlook and location is lovely.

Quiet pleasant place, walks all around
Toilets basic but usable,
Helen the owner was lovely to talk too, very friendly.
We had a camper van with awning to puts kids in, when we turned up there were a few caravans so looking for a level ground with no dips in; was a struggle but we got there in the end & didn’t effect our stay

Very pleasant place to stay regarding surroundings.
Helen the owner was very friendly and obliging and it was easily accessible from the main road and convenient for several National Trust properties and Aylesbury Town Centre.
Extra bonus of electric hookups all at a very reasonable price.

This is a nice site, there are toilets. Plenty of electrical hook up. If you don’t like birds then it’s not a site for you.
The birds & animals made my weekend, there’s a lovely walk down the canal to Aylesbury which was great.
The bats at night flying about & the local squirrel added to the being close to nature.
I would recommend this site & go again.

We have used this site several times this year as it is a short walk from our daughters.
The site is basic and predominately suits; motor-homes, camper-vans and caravans, although there are also some nice grass pitches for tents.
Helen and her family are extremely welcoming and once on site you cannot fail to notice the laid back and relaxed vibe of this site.
Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely quiet setting, very nice grass area for pitches, electric hook-ups, plenty of trees for shade,
Friendly welcome, good toilets with hand basins, and a fresh water tap.
There were friendly and inquisitive farm animals (goats?) in the adjoining field, and to cap it all, behind the toilets was a nice pond complete with ducks.

A very relaxed and laid back site, a shame we only had 2 nights, I think a week and all the stresses from work would have evaporated completely.
Will be back asap to catch up with more old friends as I used to live about a 2 mile away. So it was very much home from home.
