We had a friendly and easy book in.
The choice of a grass pitch or hardstanding.
The site and facilities were very clean.
The on site shop and cafe is very good.
For the more energetic their were plenty of walks across the surrounding fields and into Barrow upon Soar for shops, pubs, restaurants and riverside walks and boat trips.
It is advisable NOT to walk into along the road into Barrow as their is no footpath.

Lovely clean and quiet site, plenty of space on pitches. Lovely farm shop and cafe on site.
Only downside it costs £1 to use the showers as you are paying £35 a night I think it should be included in the price.
It's about a 15min walk into the village which has ample pubs and eateries there.

Lovely site, clean and well maintained. Nicely laid out, spacious flat pitches.
Great views and nice walks from site.
Please note, road into town is busy with no pavement so not ideal to walk down.
Facilities were clean but basic and you have to pay for the showers.
Quite expensive per night.

Lovely quiet site with friendly and helpful staff.
Good clean facilities - loos, showers, washing sinks and clothes washer and drier. Nice dog walks and picturesque views nearby.
Brilliant coffee shop/ farm shop on site sells homemade baked goods, some goods and farm produce.
We have been to this site three times so far and are already planning our next stay!

Just returned from a two night stay with our caravan. The site is well maintained, the warden was very helpful and the facilities were spotless.
There are excellent views over adjacent countryside and the on site farm shop and tea shop are an added bonus.
The site is conveniently located for visiting many places of interest in the surrounding area eg. Bradgate Park and and local villages, Loughborough Town whilst the village of Barrow on Soar with a choice of pubs, take aways and shops is only a steady 15 minute stroll away.
Highly recommended site.
