An interesting site.
The view from the main site over the canal and Wiltshire countryside is lovely, and the campsite (s) should be peaceful.
However, it shares the site with an industrial estate ( including a good coffee shop), so if you like the noise of sawing, drilling and welding and the smell of acrylic paint and glue, this is the place for you.
Also - finding the toilets is like an Easter egg hunt, and accessing them, until you are shown by a fellow camper, reminds me of breaking a safe, only to find that they are mixed gender and used by both campsites, the boat people and all the industrial units.
Bizarre!

We arrived at the site and found no-one around which is often the case on the small sites.
We had booked a hardstanding pitch and there were 2 of the five available. We picked a pitch and set up, it was a level hardstanding with grass at the side. They have a tap grey waste and electric on each pitch, well kept and tidy.
The view is good, the next field had a horse in and we had a view of boats on the canal although not the canal itself as it's too low.
The location is good for access to the canal towpath with walks in both directions, supermarkets within a 10 minute drive.
Altogether a very good site but it is a working farm and the track next to the pitches is used by the people from the boats so don't expect to sleep late.

This is a great site. We loved it and will be back even though not that far from home!
Owner is lovely, friendly and helpful. Pitches are level, tidy and nice view of the canal, horses and fields.
Facilities - a few toilets and a shower and a washing up sink are spotless, well lit and warm.
So many places to drive to or just wander or cycle along the canal to Bradford on Avon.

Superb caravan and motorhome CL and a small campsite, we always stay on the CL, its right next to the canal, fairly level grass pitches, no hook up but there is a toilet and shower that you can use, these are kept spotlessly clean.
There are a number of businesses on the farm including a superb coffee company where you can sample some really good coffee's, plus a metal working business making all sorts of decorative iron work.
Its an easy walk into Trowbridge along the canal tow path, some 2 miles, the nearest pub is closer, the Kings Arms, this is a 15/20 min walk. There is a Lidl supermarket also within walking distance.
For the more energetic you can also walk the 9 or so miles into Devises in the opposite direction along the canal path.
Great hosts, always friendly and welcoming, a realy excellent all round spot.

What a great site, have added this to my small, must visit again, list.
From a welcoming cup of tea 5 minutes after arriving thanks Lynn, to the goodbye from Debbie on leaving we had a wonderful relaxing time. No site is totally perfect but taking everything into account this is a good one.
Never had to queue in the facilities which were kept clean, excellent walks, nice relaxing view from the pitch. Electric is only 10 amp but is sufficient if used with thought. Fully Serviced pitch which was level.
Site is on a bus route, X34 half hourly. Many supermarkets / pubs very close.
Excellent value

Nce little serviced 5 pitch site. Lovely owner. A few cars shoot down the track next to it on their way to the canal area apart from that it is reasonably quiet.
Lovely views over the fields. Didn't explore too much as it was a work trip and -3 degrees and dark. Taps were frozen most of the time so I had to find another tap off pitch to top up the aquaroll. Maybe a little insulation could help.
10amp hookup was very temperamental, tripping in the middle of the night etc. Luckily my fridge alarm woke me up and a quick dash outside in my pyjamas to flick it back on.
A little pricey for this stay considering how much gas I used to keep warm. Probably would of been cheaper on a club site with 16amp hook up in this sort of weather.

The site was very good. Shame the canal was a bit to narrow for our liking. For cycling along.
Good location for visiting surrounding towns and national trust areas and Bath.
And lucky for us we got wonderful weather.

A very nice site. 5 pitches with EHU and a further 5 pitches nearer the canal forming a CL. A very warm welcome from Julie who showed us all the facilities and left us to it.
As per earlier post it is on an Industrial site which is tidy and seemed quite busy while we were there. There was no noise that could be heard from our pitch.
The toilet & shower block was clean and may have been updated since the earlier review.
Lovely outlook from the pitches looking towards the Canal which is a 5 minute walk. We ate in the Bear, which was good food though a limited menu due to staff covid shortages, and also the Lion & Fiddle Which was excellent. Also paid a visit to Avoncliff garden centre & Cafe for a lovely cup of tea cake.
The Canal towpath is busy with lots of barges moored. We walked to Bradford on Avon and cycled to Laycock Abbey and Devizes.
All in pretty good value at £20 pn inc EHU. Would recommend for a short break.

Very brief stop off but lovely site, well kept,
Dated but clean toilet block,
Pretty scenery.
Would recommend a stay here with more time to relax than we had.

A lovely peaceful site, when we found the correct entrance!
Don't go by the sat nav!
We were given great instructions on how to access the facilities.
Were greeted personally a bit later by a very pleasant hostess.
Walking/cycling is very popular from this site. But equally, a quiet sit and enjoying the views is very pleasant.
We enjoyed our 2 nights stay very much, as did the dogs. Thank you.
