Lovely place, extremely clean and tidy, love people that run the park.
Highly recommend this caravan park to all.
Very accessible place to get too, and very close to the market town of Northallerton, making it easy to get supplies, as it has all major shops and eateries.
Thank you

Wow what can I say, absolutely awesome site, the best I have ever been on, spent 3 nights here, the site itself is immaculate,
The pitches are very big so not to close together, the cafe sells beautiful food and all home made cakes, the breakfast the beautiful. Toilets and showers are immaculate,
The fishing lakes are kept in great condition and the fishing is fantastic.
But this all would not be possible if was not for steve the site manager, polite helpful and nothing is to much trouble, , we had a problem with the electrics steve was there to help sort the problem, even give me a lift to the village to buy new electric sockets for the van, he knows all you need to know about fishing, baits etc, brilliant tackle shop which is much bigger inside that you would think with everything you need.
We will be back next week.
He owner is a lovely guy who walks round the site stops and talks to people real nice guy
Whatever you are paying steve he needs a raise he is worth his weight in gold

Really helpful and friendly staff a real asset to the site,
Showers in a lovely clean block, but push button shower really annoying and wets everything,
Site is undergoing some major work which will make the pitches larger and hopefully more private as the spaces are very tight at the moment there are many statistics and seasonal pitches on the site,
Bus to Northallerton recommended

Good clean site. Friendly staff. Facilities clean and modern.
Pitches are tight on space if you have a large awning as car must be parked on hard standing!
Cafe is excellent - good old fashioned Full English.

Positives
Friendly owners who live on site
25 min walk to northallerton Town
Very clean site
Toilet block warm and clean
Lovely breakfast in the cafe on site
Allowed a 2nd car to park away from pitch at no charge
Negatives
Pitch we were on really small and tight barely room for the car without it being partly on the road.
Showers on a push button (free which is great) but have to press every 5 seconds and then the water is too hot.
Not enough hooks and places to put clothes when in the shower and without this provision clothes and shoes getting wet as shower curtain too short.
Right near a very busy road. Like a race track at night. Very noisy where we were and struggled to sleep before midnight and after 5am.
Not enough space on pitch we were on to have sat outside and relaxed comfortably with a bbq.
Ball games allowed. A nervous hour watching a young boy with a baseball bat and hard ball from the seasonal pitch close to our van. Other children also playing football near cars and vans and a net put out for them. Far to close to vans.

The site is very well laid out, very tidy and set in beautiful surroundings with a fishing lake within the site, at the moment there is further expansion work going on adding more hardstandings but this was halted over the weekend so certainly no disruption.
The toilet block seems quite new, and was absolutely immaculate with plenty of hot water and powerful showers.
We had booked in advance for the New Year weekend, not turning up till about 8. 00pm (as arranged) and we were met on behalf of the warden by a friendly guy who showed us where everything was situated.
Unfortunately we didn’t get to sample the wares from the on site cafe as it was understandably closed for New year holidays.
We met the warden who looks after the fishing tackle shop, who is really friendly and a fellow caravaner and camper vanner,
The walk into Northallerton is along a busy road, but has wide grass verges for the 1st half mile and then footpaths to the town centre taking about 30 mins from site to town, if your old F##ts like us. For anyone that’s never been to this beautiful town, it is well worth a visit to its array of shops and especially on market day (Saturday) when the whole town comes alive.
£25. 00 per night inc electric is about the norm in our books, especially good with the standard of facilities.
We don’t stop at a lot of sites, usually preferring to wild camp, but when we do use sites we expect clean, professional and friendly service, …very happy to say this site ticked all the boxes.
We will definitely visit this site again, and whole heartedly recommend it.

Lovely quiet site, nice level hard standing and grass pitch.
Clean toilet and shower block. Fabulous fishing lakes.
Not far from Northallerton which has a nice selection of shops, cafes and pubs.
Thirsk and Richmond are within driving distance.
