Grand laid back site choose your own pitch on arrival.
Spacious pitches beautiful eucalyptus trees with their aroma.
Dog walks from the site.
Away from the hustle and bustle of Southend but close enough to visit disappointing no dogs allowed on the pier.
Airport is close but not many flights and not intrusive noise wise.
Good price compared to most.

Very reasonable price per night. We had a hardstanding with electric hookup.
The facilities were compact: the Ladies contained one WC, separate basin and 2 showers. It was always warm in there! No matter what time of day or evening. The hot water was indeed hot too. The wash up area was open air so not ideal if raining, this comprised a sink with drainer and hot/cold water. Again the water was always hot which we have found not to be the case at some more expensive sites!
Any improvements I would suggest could be a roof over the washing up area as a minimum; also a notice about where to find the waste disposal/chemical toilet point.
The cafe seemed to be very popular but we didn't make use of that and the children's outdoor play area could also be of benefit in better weather, this I think is a separate business along with the indoor soft play area.
We visited the area as walking the "coast path" and used the train from nearest station. Unfortunately the local bus no longer runs.
The narrow lane from the site is a hazard to walk along, high vis recommended and a torch.

One ladies toilet but 3 mens. Long weeds nettles & grass around the pitch & light not working in the ladies toilet/shower room.
No response from site via UK Camping or Facebook, phone constantly engaged, only managed to book due to getting a response on Instagram.
Electric hookup did not work.

Nice basic site. Clean toilets and lovely chickens wandering about.
Lots to do if you have toddlers as soft play area and outdoor play area.
Lovely little cafe cup and saucer. Very friendly staff.
Nice walk and visitor centre at Thames nature park down the road.
Will return next year.

The staff really friendly and accommodating,
Would recommend the site,
One suggestion I would have is either a shelf or chair where you can put your clothes when showering

(2022) Nice site, has 2 decent showers, 2 sets of toilets, nice and clean and warm, fresh water, EHU, elsan & on site laundry service (£5 a load. Laundry done for you)
Level grass and hard standing pitches.
A bit of noise from the adjacent road but not too bad as it's a country lane.
EHU is 10amp now.
At the time of this review it's £120 a week for a 7. 2m motorhome and car.
There are chickens running around the site so check with the owner if you have a dog.
There's a long hose pipe that will reach every pitch so you can fill your water tank up without moving.
£20 deposit for the key fob to operate the automatic entrance/exit gate.
Best to phone Howard (owner) before you arrive so you're expected. The entrance can be busy because you have to drive through a public car park and the entrance is a bit tight with cars coming and going. (choose a quiet day).
Data signal is a bit weak but we managed streaming ok.
TV signal and phone signal is good
Will cater for long stays, and you won't have to move after 28 days as this site is private.
Walton Farm also has a farm museum, children's adventure play area and tea room.
Nearby takeaway, Indian, Chinese, fish n chips, kebab.
Local attractions. Coal House Fort, Tilbury Fort, Lakeside shopping centre.
Although Walton Farm site is pleasant, open field view on one side.
The only faults with the site are -
Maintenance man lights a bonfire every couple of weeks or so.
The field is very wet and you will get stuck (Feb/March) hose pipe often being left on for hours don't help.

Very clean site, lovely warm shower room and showers.
Very nice helpful people.
It's good it's open all year, good for local nature reserve, at Mucking, and Lakeside, is close if you like shopping.
