We were booked in to stay - arrived and found an overgrown field, tree branches strewn around. No sine of toilets or shower as owners promised.
Could get owners by phone so emailed- told toilets and shower were on the next but 1 field! They were filthy. Didn’t look like they had been cleaned in weeks, maybe months!
Rang around and found somewhere more suitable to stay!

The entrance is easy to find and enter from Burnham Market but would be very tricky with caravan to enter from wells direction as it would be a very sharp turn left. Better to turn around on large concrete area in front of farm 50 yards further on.
We arrived in a heavy downpour which had been going on for some hours so the entrance track was very muddy with deep pools in the track but we have a 4 wheel drive so no problem.
The field is a good sized square like with the pitches hook ups spaced evenly around, so units are not on top of each other. 16 amp hook up so plenty of power.
It is relatively quiet with some road noise in the morning/evening rush hours.
Clive the owner is a very approachable friendly chap who looks in every day to make sure all is O. K.
We would concur with the previous poster regarding the chemical waste facilities which are very 'basic' and not up to what we consider would be appropriate for todays sites.
There is also no logical grey waste disposal point.
Overall £15 per night is a little expensive in view of basic nature of the site and its facilities.

I can only second what the previous reviewer has put. The location is excellent however no effort has been put into this site. The entrance was boggy and deeply rutted to say the least, grass was unacceptably long, and facilities as basic as they get. £15 per night makes this very poor value.
We stayed just one night as we were so concerned about becoming bogged down in the field and not being able to get off despite there not having been any heavy rain.
I would not recommend this site at all, as there are so many others to choose from in the area that offer better facilities, and are well-maintained, and cost less!

Although we stayed here last year, I didn't get around to writing a review at the time - it is only having recently stayed at a superb CL in nearby Sheringham that I remembered how poor this was. And there seem to have been no reviews of the caravan CL site, just the [now discontinued] tent site, so it seemed appropriate to pass comment.
The site itself is just a grass field. The bare minimum has been spent on installing EHUs, waste disposal and fresh water. And yet the owner was charging [as at 2015] £15 a night. I felt as though we were being treated as a cash crop. As a grass field, it is quiet and within an easy walk of Burnham, Thorpe and its Lord Nelson. At half the price, it would have been acceptable.

Please note as of December 2014 we have been advised the tent campsite is closed, so they now only have the Caravan Club CL for caravans and motorhomes.

Leith House Orchards at Burnham Thorpe, is a quiet site with clean toilet and shower facilities. The pitch size ensures you don't have close neighbours, with plenty of car parking on the pitch. There is a local pub in Burnham Thorpe with shops, garage etc some 20/25 minutes walk or 5 minute drive to Burnham Market. I have no hesitation recommending this site to others and will visit again in the future. Wells Next the Sea is a 20 minute drive with good car parking charged at £1 after 6pm.

Lovely quiet site, very well placed, very clean simple facilities. Chickens roaming in the yard.
We had booked two pitches for one night in the half term and had the field to ourselves. Lovely local pub and close to the coast.
My little girl loved the freedom and there is even a small gate leading to the lovely village green and playpark next door.
We will be back for a longer stay.
Extremely good value.

My fiance and I and my daughter set up our very large tent here in this Massive field, there were only 6 other tents! We stayed 5 nights.
Children's play area in the next field, and the Lord Nelson pub is within walking distance (although they don't serve Sunday Dinner in the evening)and as we arrived on a Sunday that's what we wanted. Bit disappointing.
The site is situated in little quaint village (Burnham Thorpe) and the local shop for essential food items is in Burnham Market(over a mile away).
There are 2 toilets and 1 shower on the site with hot running water, but in need of a little TLC, but for the price we paid adequate.
No electric hook up, which we didn't want anyway, back to basics.
Very Quiet when dark, listen out for the owls
We even made use of the communal campfire on our last night, toasting marshmallows.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would do it again.

Great site for proper campers. Huge field right next to a playing field/playground and a pub. Very quiet apart from the owls. We loved this site for it's simplicity.
Yes the toilets are basic and there is only one shower, but it isn't pricey or noisy as other sites we have been to are. The toilets are generally clean and tidy and the shower nice and hot and free.
The location is good for the beaches at Holkham and Wells, even better if you take bikes. The owner is very helpful and friendly and we even got our plums delivered! Wear flipflops or crocs if you don't want wet socks, as it does get dewy in the mornings.

Lovely, unspoilt and spacious site in a sheltered position near the church and children's park. Slightly tricky to find but owner gave easy to follow instructions and was very helpful and welcoming.
Clean and tidy toilet/shower block. Would have loved to have used the firepit and barbecue but the storms were against us.
Despite puddles in the farmyard the ground did not become waterlogged and drained quickly.
Ground was slightly rocky but pegs stayed in during daily storms and didn't need adjusting. We didn't really use local amenities but there are no shortage of attractions- Burnham Market, Holkham, Wells-next-the-sea, within an easy drive.
We only stayed for three nights, however we would be happy to come back for a longer stay.
If you are happy with clean and basic we definitely recommend a stay here, however if you need washing/drying facilities, electric hookups etc then you need to keep looking.
Excellent value for money and liked just paying for pitch by tent not people. Highlight was seeing and hearing the owls.
