The Owner is very kind and helpful.
You'll have 5 hard pitch and at least 1 on grass.
The price is 25 by night + 5 for electric.
The road is a quite busy, but after 8/9PM the traffic is almost inexistent.
The most complicated is the entry to find, here, you'll find Google maps link :
Https://maps. App. Goo. Gl/rZLXTqmVhndecug69
AFAIK, you won't be able to empty grey water, but chemical toilets and refill is OK.
As a plus, if you want to discover Edinburgh, just go to Longniddry and park at the Scot Railway station.
Parking is free, and in less than 35 minutes you're at Waverly station.

Small Certificated type site with around half a dozen hard standing pitches with electric hook-ups.
Main field is grass access.
Mr Grey, a friendly owner lives on site. Cash or cheque payment accepted.
Seperate male and female facilities, outside chemical waste disposal and dish washing sink.
Only drawback is sitr is on top of a hill on the Haddington to Aberlady road and when windy there's plenty of buffeting!

Site is small and well kept with a handful of hardstand plots and grass space for tents. Electric hook ups available throughout.
Toilets/showers are clean, water is hot and at no extra cost.
Owner is friendly and helpful.
Not that it bothered us at all, but light sleepers should be aware that a road runs alongside and it is situated opposite a vegetable processing and packaging facility that starts operating around 6am.
Good range of facilities locally in Haddington, North Berwick seaside is nearby and Edinburgh is easily accessed by public transport.
All in all, a good find.

Went to Scotland with my daughter to wild camp. Loved it! The stopover at The Steading gave us a chance to have a piping hot shower and a bit of home comfort.
We were greeted by Ann who was super friendly, despite us arriving quite late. The park was spick and span. Lines and pegs were provided for drying towels etc. We could leave our belongings safely in the park when we went out.
Eddie (Ann's husband) was also super friendly and offered whatever advice we needed. The camp is not far from Haddington if shops are needed, but we loved the countryside. There is a high wall surrounding the campsite which gives protection from wind and sightseers.
Just could suggest a basin in which to wash dishes etc. (or maybe we missed it?)
Overall - lovely!

Last minute booking. Site and pitches immaculate.
Was greeted by Eddie who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the local area.
A lovely relaxed little site complete with a gorgeous little dog called beau who is everyone’s friend.
Traffic noise is a small issue, but totally quiet at night.
Would definitely stay there again,

We had such a lovely time at this campsite.
Eddie and his family could not have been more lovely and helpful. Their wee Jack Russell doggy Beau is the sweetest wee dog ever. She was our constant companion all week and we were so happy to have her company in the evenings.
The site is beautiful and so well maintained. We were made to feel so at home.
It’s so close to the beautiful wee town of Haddington too.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
Loved it!
Thank you Eddie & family.

I felt at night trying to sleep I know was in tent but to noisy from main road traffic
Suppose further away from main road would be better for use of tents
But still loved the site very good
Toilets clean tidy no faults thank you

Welcomed onto site by Eddie for our first outing in our trailer tent. We parked as far from the roadside within this fenced site as possible for our two night stay.
Excellent toilets and washing facilities. Good views from this high up site to the Forth Bridges and across to Fife.
It's only a short distance from the site to many local East Lothian attactions and food shopping is quite close too.

We had a brilliant 4 night stay here. We were the only tent in the field with a caravan in the opposite corner. The shower rooms were always immaculate & plenty of hot water for washing up.
Lovely views across the Firth of Forth from the top of the field. Road noise didn’t really bother us. You can’t have it both ways, being able listen to wildlife at night means you can also hear the traffic in the morning.
It also means the access to wherever you want to go is easy. The owner is friendly & was full of useful information. He never stopped tittivating the site to keep it looking good. This is the best value for money site in the area. Considerably cheaper than any other.
We will return.
