Absolutely wonderful stay.
If you want a place to stay that is calm, friendly and breathtaking this is it.
If you want karaoke, water slides and an impersonal, superficial experience try somewhere else.
Jeremy and Mel have a site they should be very proud of. The atmosphere and collective culture there is a reflection of the sprit of the two people that have built this special place between them.
There local knowledge is detailed and just what is needed if you want to explore areas away from the crowds.
The bread and pastries orders are a real help too but a real threat to the wasteline.
We will definitely be going back.
Thanks guys.

Fabulous campsite surrounded by mountains with easy access to Bourg-d’Oisans and all the alps can offer.
The camp site is clean, quiet and very well run.
The owners are so friendly and helpful - we borrowed an electric bbq and you can order breakfast in advance.
I cannot recommend this place more. We will be back!

Wow what a truly stunning place! Right in the heart of the French Alps you have everything at your Fingertips! Us like many, came here for the cycling and the stunning scenery. But the thing that made it perfect was the wonderful owner of this site. She truly is a wonderful human being and not only is she knowledgable and caring and incredibly hard-working, she does everything with a natural charm!
When we arrived for our stay I was utterly broken due to sleep deprivation, and this lady literally saved the day! We're very sad to leave however we will be back when we're next here.
The amenities are plenty and very clean. The campsite itself is super peaceful and silent with nothing but natures noises around you. What more could you need for a restful stay?

Fantastic site in beautiful quiet surroundings with great facilities and the most helpful and friendly owners you are ever likely to come across. Have visited 3 times now over several years and cannot wait for my next visit.
The showers are great (speaking as a plumber) and always hot, there is power & water on the pitch, and the pitches are spacious with hedges & shade trees.
I stay here for cycling in the area and Mel, the owner is a great resource for info on routes, roadworks to avoid and even which climbs will be sunny/shady at various times of the day - best campsite I have ever stayed at!

Quite convenient for cycling Alpe duez. A small scruffy site, which is very expensive. Crowded and not particularly pretty. Friendly owner. Many tents. Always check price before you go. Not worth the cost.

This campsite is in a spectacular setting and conveniently close to the pleasant town of Bourg d'Oisan and a good base for exploring and walking in the region. The English owners were friendly and helpful and the Reception was open for a couple of hours in the morning and again in the evening. The facilities were adequate for this small site so we never had to wait to use the showers despite it being peak season. The pitches were quite small by French standards so we chose to camp in the paddock which was huge, quiet and surrounded by mountains. As with other French sites, you could order bread or pain aux raisins etc but paid quite a bit more than if you bought these yourself. The site was never full so we need not have booked (and paid) in advance. The major negative, in our opinion, was the price - 25 Euros a night for 2 in a tent without electricity. At all the other campsites we stayed at in France this Summer the price was 13-18 Euros! There were fridges available for use but at a cost of 2. 5 Euros a day which adds up over the course of a week

I stayed at Ferme Noemie a couple of times while cycling on several large sportives and can't recommend it enough - the spot is fantastic - lovely surroundings - great modern amenities, and there was no issue with my arrival in the middle of the night.
The hosts were amazingly helpful - I managed to get a flat tyre on my hire car from Switzerland - the hosts must have spent about half an hour on the phone for me between Avis in Switzerland and Avis France to organise a replacement car - thanks guys!
The campsite seems to draw nice friendly guests to boot - wasn't kept up in the evenings with noise at all, handy when the next morning is a 200km event!

This was our second visit to Ferme Noemie, and it is a confirmed favourite of ours. We are a family of enthusiastic cyclists, and because of the weath of iconic mountains close by the site attracts many cyclists. Mel and Jeremy are well practised at handling bathe needs of their many cycling guests, and run a very well organised site. Facilities are clean, well equipped and well maintained. It is a small site which seems to easily develop a very nice village type ambience, significantly because visitors like to be in such a naturally beautiful environment - the panorama of surrounding majestic mountains is constantly changing in its colours and appearance. The very pleasant town of Le Bourg d'Oisans is close by. There are several cycle events each summer which influence the numbers of visitors to the area, Mel can advise you on this. Lovely well run small site in a stunning area.

We stayed here for 7 nights and enjoyed every last minute. The site is peaceful, clean and very friendly. The owners are very helpful and information in the office is excellent.
The site is well laid out, very good size pitches catering caravans, mobile homes and large family tents like ours. Electric and water points at the front of each pitch. The toilet and washing blocks were excellent as was the use of the fridges and freezers in the main office area. Free WiFi also available at the office area.
In terms of supermarkets there is a Casino in Bourg (10 minutes), and a bigger Carrefour, Inter Marche and Lidl in the direction of Vizille (25 minutes)
The majority of the campers were English and either serious cyclists or walkers. We were serious holiday tourists looking to explore the alps and we were not disappointed with trips out to lake in Laffrey (direction Vizille), up the famous 21 bends of Alpe d'Huez (10 minutes drive away) and to the very top of the village to lac besson, Les Deux Alps (25 minutes drive away) and lac besoniere. We also found an excellent swimming pool with slide in Vaujany (20 minutes away)and a wet day out in Grenoble (60 minutes away). Bourg -d-Oisans (10 minutes away) is also well worth a look especially the walk to the cascade de la Pisse (8 km walk lasting 2 - 3 hours depending upon walking speed).
In conclusion this was a great base for the start of our holiday in France, with 4 children on board they were never board or too far away from water, a chair lift or other children on site to play with.
We shall be returning.

We stayed at this campsite in July 2013 in a small campervan for 2 days. The location was easy to find due to great signposting on the main road from Grenoble to Bourg, the site is a few 100m from the road and is beautifully located between the mountains and has stunning views.
Melanie was very helpful when we arrived offering use of a really handy fridge and an early morning bread delivery that was very welcome! Basically they couldn't do enough to help.
We were there to take part in the la marmotte annual bike ride, so the campsite was quite busy, despite this it was quiet at night and the toilets and showers were very clean and never very busy. Whilst we were riding we were able to keep the van there before we departed which was really helpful!
All in all a very friendly and welcoming campsite with a range of facilities for all needs, also the price is really good too!
