Lovely relaxing stay, we were lucky with the weather, great walk to tillingham through the public footpaths, we came back in the dark which was exciting.
Great place for spotting wild life
Sally & the family very helpful
Good place to bring the kids to pick a massive pumpkin they have hundreds which they are selling during October.

A lovely, small and secludid site, within 20 minutes walk of Tillingham and a lovely and friendly pub (Cap & Feathers).
The owners of Marks Farm were very friendly and popped round on our first day to check if we were happy and settled in ok.
Facilities were basic with 1 shower, 2 toilets and washing up area but very nice and clean and serviced every day.
Will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone looking for a quite countryside site.

Friendly welcome on telephone and on site.
Large flat field with good sheltering hedges on north and south sides, and organic farm.
Easy reach of Burnham on sea (estuary and sailing), Maldon (sailing barges),
Plenty of coastal walks (even the defunct nuclear power station has its' attraction) with views over the Blackwater and Crouch estuaries. Special interest was St Peters, the oldest standing church in the country.
Site has one of the best toilet/shower blocks I have seen on a five van site (and let's be honest, they are variable).
Lots of country lanes to navigate. Close enough to London to have "weekenders", bless 'em, we used to be like that.

Site is ideally located for a boat trip out to Radio Caroline, a trip which is highly recommended.
Not sure there’s much else to tempt, unless you like the brutalist architecture of nuclear power stations.
Site is reached down endless windy roads and the villages are sparse.
Site is quiet and clean, with raging easterly winds to blow away the cobwebs.
It’s a large field with generous pitches and unshaded from sun all day.
One shower, two toilets which were immaculate and seemed ample provision.

It was on an organic vegetable farm and was very peaceful. The owner and her family were friendly and helpful.
Lots of local footpaths and villages to visit, but shops were a little thin on the ground. Not far from the oldest church in England - St Peter's on the Wall.
We would definitely return.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a great time- just our kind of site- very small, laid back and relaxed.
We didn't meet Sally, but she was very friendly and helpful on the phone; we left cash in the honesty box, as requested.
The shower and toilets were very clean and we walked to the very friendly pub for a meal.
We would definitely return.

Very nice well spaced CS site with grass and HS with EHU on a working Organic Farm. There is one quite modern toilet and 1 toilet and Shower which were kept spotless while we were there.
There is a 20 minute off road walk to the village of Tillingham which has 2 pubs (1 does Thai food on some nights) and a shop. Bradwell on Sea and Bradwell Waterfront are also walkable.
Owners are very friendly and offered local information.
