Great site, cannot comment on the facilities as we always use our own onboard shower and toilet but did have a quick look, they did look really nice and clean,
Not a lot going on in New Holland but loads to do and visit a short drive away,
Great little pub on site and Chinese takeaway within walking distance and there is a really nice restaurant/pub called the Haven Inn just a 5 minute drive away, well worth a visit with great food and staff,
The only thing to watch if you are using EHU as there is an extra charge if you use over the limit set by the site,
The Alpacas are cute.

Our first visit after recommendation from our daughter. What a lovely adult only site, good sized pitches, good, clean facilities with one shower and two toilets in each.
We visited the on site 'Alpacas Arms' both nights of our stay enjoying karaoke and a music quiz. On returning to our pitch at 11 all was quiet.
There is a Chinese takeaway and cafe in the village about 5 mins walk away, both were very good.
Hosts are very welcoming and you can also feed the alpacas that the site is named after every morning with Julie happy to provide names and info on each of them!
Will definitely be returning.

Gary and Julie were very friendly and helpful, pretty and well kept site
Toilet Block had 1 Shower with 2 loos in gents and ladies (showers £1 for 7 mins) although my husband liked that there was a dispenser with shampoo and body wash.
PS- Beware of the railway crossing before you get to the site

Excellent well kept, well run camp site. Superb new unisex toilet block facilities available with an extra block nearing completion to give male / female facilities.
Great host who was very helpful with any queries.
A very small shop is on site for a few essentials.
Local Chinese takeaway and an excellent cafe in the village - both offer a delivery service.
Convenient railway station in the village for trips out.
Reasonable dog walking along the very quiet road outside the site.
A gem of a site with easy access to surrounding areas and the added bonus of Alpacas (and sheep) on the site giving great fun at the morning feeding time.
The only downside for us was the lack of a motorhome waste tank dump facility but this may be explained by the fact that there is no mains drainage on site and motorhomes could very quickly fill the septic tank system.

Very clean, very organised, great hosts and a thoroughly enjoyable experience to stay here.
The only downfall of the site was that there was no local shop but the hosts were very hospitable in helping with anything else you needed, maybe not a downfall just on account of its rural location,
Would thoroughly recommend this site and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Julie and Gary are perfect hosts, always making sure that all is right for their guests. Cost of pitching tent very reasonable.
New washing/shower facilities, second building in progress, to a good specification. Site is very well maintained. We enjoyed watching the animals and feeding the alpacas. All the people we met were very friendly.
Local amenities although limited were good. The Magna Charter pub served a good pint of Doom Bar. The Chinese Takeaway was exceptionally good for a small village, loved their salt and pepper squid. We found the best eateries were The Haven Inn, Barrow Haven and the Yarborough Arms, Ulceby.

I wanted a site to use as a base for visiting places in Linconshire.
Getting to the site I was worried I would get grounded going over the railway lines as it is quite a hump, but I was ok.
I paid £132 for 6 nights (folding camper on hard standing with electric hookup).
The Chinese takeaway at the top of the street is very nice. The next nearest shop (aside from the reception/camp shop) is in the next village, the Co-op also has a cash machine down the first aisle).
It is the first adult only site I have tried and thought it would be quieter.
The site good bits:-
The toilets were very clean, there was a heater in there. Just watch out for the lights - they are on a sensor/timer and go off a bit quick. There was also a bookcase with books you could borrow.
The shop was well stocked with essentials.
The site bad bits:-
There were building works going on which we were not told about when booking so that was quite noisy.
As another reviewer mentioned there is noise from the local industry and this seemed to be all day and night.
There was only 1 shower (until the other bit is built) and it was £1 for 7 minutes.
The 2 toilets and shower were for men and women (until the other bit is built).
Waste water is all disposed of down the toilet waste point which was a bit grotty and hadn't been cleaned.
Conclusion
I think once all the building works have been completed it will be much nicer.
Would I stay there again - no.

Lovely clean and tidy site, toilets and shower room kept very clean.
There is a small shop on site that has the basics in case you forget anything.
Julie is very down to earth and friendly, the alpacas are ace!

Small site, friendly and helpful owners. As a camper I appreciated the fact that the grass was mown, then the cuttings removed - small detail but makes a big difference!
There is some noise during the night from the nearby timber freight yard which seems to work through the night, noticeable when there is no wind!
