It's a small campsite with a mixture of static caravans for hire, tent camping and grass and hardstanding for motorhomes.
The toilets are clean and the showers warm although nowhere to place clothes/ washbags etc and the shower sprays a bit. We had a hardstanding pitch which came with its own water tap.
The owner was very friendly and helpful and the site is a short walk from the South West Coastal Path at Botallack.
There are buses from the entrance to Penzance and St Ives although the latter take take 60-90 minutes to get there.
It's a good base for exploring the Penwith peninsula

This is a well run site with friendly owners.
Facility block is kept spotless and is up to date but no heating on; so quick visit to shower needed.
The site is 5 mins walk from a good, dog friendly village pub which does good bar meals and has long opening times.
Buses to Lands End or St Ives stop just outside the campsite but are not that frequent ( hourly ? sort of).
The nearby village of St Justs has a Co-op, butchers, bakers, cafes and pubs etc it can be walked along quiet roads or tracks in about 30 mins.
It is easy to get to the coast path with fantastic views and lots of walk options.

I stayed on this site for 2 nights with my dog and had a lovely stay.
I was welcomed on arrival and a kind gent walked me to my pitch.
Facilities were always clean, plenty of taps to get fresh water and the location was perfect.

The real bonus of this site is where it is. There is brilliant walking that need not be too strenuous with wonderful views across the road from the site.
There is a really dog friendly pub that does good food at a reasonable price not many yards down the road. There is a bus stop just outside the site where the Cornish coastal hopper can be caught and is £5 a day or £20 per week.
The village of St Just is not far and has food shops (not large supermarkets) and some other interesting shops. The site itself is good but doesn't look particularly inviting initially. The toilets and showers were clean and in good working order.
The showers had plenty of hot water. However the showers although quite long were quite narrow and one of us struggled a bit being rather on the ample side.
The water did also go everywhere as the screen to prevent it doing so is very narrow and there are gaps under the partitions which means the water from the shower next door seeps through and vice versa.
Having said all that we extended our stay and would go there again because what we have said are honest observations but not things that are so detrimental as to affect our enjoyment or make us dislike the site, far from it.

Nice quiet site in a fabulous part of Cornwall good spacious pitches, excellent toilet and shower facilities.
Short walk to scenic coastal walks and local pub.
The Atlantic Coaster bus stops right outside the site entrance with plenty of places to visit, St Ives. Lands End, Penzance.
Would definitely recommend this site.

Stayed here for a 7 night break in July 2021, all I can say is excellent all round.
The facilities were great, with plenty of water and electric hook up points.
Toilet and shower block kept very clean, and Covid secure. Nicola & Simon, were great hosts, and the site is a great location for discovering West Cornwall, approximately 5 miles from Lands End.
I would definitely recommend.

I would like to thank the owners for there help and guidance.
The site was in a superb location, great for access to the coastal path, ideal for dog walking, superb for access to the local area.
The site was peaceful, lovely and quiet, and even with Covid restrictions the facilities were excellent,
Will certainly be looking to return next year.

Lovely site. Facilities clean and well kept. Showers a bit of a pain as they switch off too quickly and you have to keep restarting. Clubhouse not open as out of season but looked quite nice.
Cannot really score on child friendliness as it being out of season and I didn’t really see much for kids. It maybe more interesting for children in the summer.
Owner nice and friendly, very helpful.
Beautiful area to stay, great walks and other towns quite close by car. Very nice local pub 5 minute walk away, food exceptional.
Would thoroughly recommend this site and area to stay at. Will definitely come and stay again.

Well spaced out hard standing pitches.
Toilets and showers spotless.
Friendly owners who have only been on site for 6 months.
The only thing I take exception to is the exorbitant charge for WiFi on the vast majority of campsites. When paying more than 20 pounds per night I consider this a rip-off. The majority of Hotels and B&Bs at home and abroad give customers free WiFi.
Bus stop with buses every hour to Penzance is right at the entrance to the site. About half hour to Penzance bus station where loads of destinations are available to visit.
Great for us older ones with concessionary bus passes.
