I think because this site has 10/10 for lots of review, I perhaps expected more and felt disappointed on arrival, the main field is just a farm field next to farm shed. However, I did feel better about it as our stay progressed.
The views beyond are beautiful and look out onto the hills. There is a road just off site but thankfully there isn't much noise from it. There's lots of excellent walks from the site.
There are hard standing pitches and each has it's own electric and water.
The toilet and shower block are slightly dated and felt a bit cold, but they are clean with 1 toilet & 2 showers for each sex plus a disabled toilet. As well as indoor washing up. You can also buy farm eggs.
It's a long walk into Builth Wells and a long, long, uphill walk back. Thankfully the owners have the names of local taxi firms up on the noticeboard.
If you like walking and a quiet site you'll probably love this site.

Excellent site well laid out,
We were made very welcome by Elaine and we will certainly be back in the future,
We loved watching the dogs herding the sheep.
The views are stunning and a very peaceful site.

Stayed 2 nights for the winter fair & couldn't be more delighted to find such a gem so near to Builth in November. Nothing fancy, just as we like.
Lovely & quiet site. No bar, no screaming drunkards leaving the bar at 12.
If I was going to be picky, but it didn't actually affect us on our short stay, I didn't see laundry facilities.
If we were staying longer than the 2 nights we did I might have liked them. They may be there & I didn't see them though! But maybe builth has a launderette.

Very well managed small site. All electric pitches. Very clean free hot showers and toilet block.
Owners David and Elaine very welcoming and they're friendly collie dog!
No shop on site but Builth Wells literally down the road has everything you need from local butchers, bakery's, pubs etc.
The beautiful river Wye runs through the town. If your looking for a lovely quiet site this is the one.
Our go to place in Wales!

Our second time at this lovely little site and we were not disappointed.
Beautiful surroundings, walk into Builth mostly off road, bit of a climb back but doable if you have a reasonable level of fitness.
Facilities all kept clean and stocked and friendly owners.
Lovely quiet location.

A lovely spot to stay for a few days with a glorious view of the rolling hills, very quiet and peaceful.
The owners are so friendly and the facilities are sparkling clean.
The site to the front is neighbourly with more private areas behind the hedge.
You do need transport to visit the little town of Builth Wells, plenty of very nice cafes!

Peaceful, well maintained and perfect for a tranquil getaway!
Noyadd is my all time favourite camp site - I've been coming here for about 8 years. Nyadd is a working farmand it's lovely to see the sheep and lambs in the spring. Because of the site's location it's great for wildlfe - red kites can regularly be seen wheeling overhead and, in the adjacent field, rabbits can be seen playing in the spring/summer evenings.
There is always warm welcome here and the facilities are clean and well kept. There are brochures detailng local events/activities in the washing up area providing ideas for when the weather is less than perfect. Builth Wells, just a few minutes drive away, is home to the annual Royal Welsh show so the site is ideal for those who love the hustle and bustle of the show but want to relax in a quieter environment afterwards!
The shops are a few miles away with a Co Op supermarket providing most of your needs. The Fish & Chip shop in the main street cooks every order individually and serves the best chips I've ever tasted!
The low light pollution makes this a great place for stargazing.
An all round winner for quiet, low key getaways!
